I was thinking more ghost of christmas past, present and yet to come, but with "yet to come" being less dark.>>36829381>>36829382
Agreed. I won't say 10/10, but it was a really good and comfy special. really loved the interaction between the characters (EVERYONE had great chemistry) and nothing felt out of character.
The only one I think felt kind of weak in plot was spike because his was so one dimensional and he really didn't have another support character to play off of like the others did.
That being said, this episode REALLY made me want a full on Dash/discord episode given their playing off each other in this episode and mutual status as essentially each being the "best" friend of fluttershy of each gender.
Lots of cute animation and designs too-- I SHOULD hate flurry heart since she's such an obvious toy push, but they manage to make her cute in her mannerisms (And that star outfit).
The only really big issue I have is the overly deus ex machina resolution and sugariness of the ending, which discord even POINTED OUT, ironically enough.
9/10.>>36829383>I was also glad to hear "Thank Celestia!" back on somepony's lips again.
The sad thing is that marble's probably so much of a Neet that she'll never have the courage to actually ask a guy out and end up living at her parents farm all her life.
On that note, damned, did I love limestone in this one. She's a MUCH better foil to pinky than maud, and her angry new yorker accent actually makes her rather adorable, in a strange way.>>36829391
her voice and mannerism seems WAAAY different than she was before.
Before she seemed kind of "slow" and derpy, but in this one she comes off as, well, drunk. Kind of a "pretty airhead drunk" kind of feel.
its strange that they're FINALLY letting her talk again after such a long time of being forced to be silent by hasbro.>>36829388
To be honest, I'm going to sound pessimistic, but I'll say "deprived". Its a good episode, but I don't think its 10/10.
