Probably copyright/other legal issues. Been some issues with deepfake software for video as well.
I think, at least in 15.ai's case, there are several reasons to not compress it.
1. High quality of course.
2. Compressing is more taxing than just puking out a WAV on a cheap, superfast internet connection. Files probably never gets stored anywhere than in RAM anyways, so no space taken and no wearing on drives. Just about saving process power I would assume.
