No, it’s a vegan burger. For some reason the amount of vegan alternatives and advertisements have gone up rapidly in the last 6 months.
6 months ago you’d virtually never hear about it IRL, now it seems to be everywhere. I don’t see the appeal considering that only 1-1.5% of the population is vegan. Where’s the market demanding all of these alternatives?
Personally I think it’s being pushed because they know that they can charge people extra while using ingredients like soy that are largely significantly cheaper than meat. I’m not complaining, I just don’t know why this all of sudden got pushed so hard out of seemingly nowhere.
