Asking Snowbell why he has multiple swords is kind of like asking a weeb why he has multiple pictures of anime girls on their wall.

Snowbell is a militiaboo.

Only instead of just fawning over weapons he doesn't know to use he actually knows how every one works and uses uranium as a paperweight just to freak out the normies that come to visit.

I usually make my own music since a lot of songs aren't very efficient for ability syncs. Its fun to make a min/maxed masterpiece.
Sometimes I just use Darude Sandstorm so my clueless teamates can get their buffs off.

They just added a Shawzin instrument which is like a mandolin, but I'd rather practice a real guitar than get good with that. Pumped Up Kicks | Warframe Shawzin [Minor]

Plus we’re the only major British city with a grid plan.

No all day fires allowed. Really good beer though. Usually hitting it out of the park.

Thanks. I'm sometimes nervous about riding through there. Probably not actually allowed to just be there if you didn't pay to golf but haven't been caught yet lol

You have someone you can borrow from? I need to sell the set I have from when I was a teen and get a used set that actually is my size. Then it's golfing poorly time !!

I’ve actually thought of this and came to the conclusion that there are virtually no truly vegan jobs.

I came to this conclusion by working of what I’ve dubbed “crisp theory,” which basically poses that you are just as responsible for what results from your actions as the actions themselves. So for example if I as a vegan was to live with a non-vegan and they bought a multi-pack of crisps, some of which were “vegan” while the others weren’t and I ate all the “vegan” crisps out of that multi-pack I would only force the non-vegan to exclusively eat non-vegan crisps, rather than going for the vegan crisps which are no longer an option because of me. This would mean that he’d finish the multi-pack far sooner than he would have otherwise, which means that he’ll have to buy more multi-packs on a regular basis, which increases the demand for non-vegan products, which in turn causes animal suffering. Essentially by eating the “vegan” crisps I’m forcing someone else to eat non-vegan crisps, which increases the demand for said product. My actions directly facilitate them doing something that isn’t vegan, which in turn makes my action of facilitating them non-vegan by proxy. This basically means I can’t even eat a lot of the “vegan” food in my house, especially regarding things like snack food, which fucking sucks.

The same theory could be applied to a McDonald’s workplace. Me cleaning tables and thus handling no non-vegan products is only forcing someone else to handle said products. It is no less immoral for me to participate in an immoral action in comparison to directly facilitating someone else in their immoral action, an immoral action is still taking place.

Taken to its extreme this principle would exclude me from pretty much every job imaginable. Although the definition of veganism is “to reduce the amount of animal suffering you cause in your life as much as is possible and practical.” I need employment, it’s essential for my wellbeing that I make money, so while I wouldn’t consider any particular job to be 100% vegan friendly, I don’t have much of a choice. Plus 99% of the problem is supply and demand, by creating less demand and thus supply of animal products you’re making a far bigger impact than you would by simply not working in a place like McDonald’s. Plus you could argue that more money means you can spend more on vegan products which ups the supply of vegan products, thus cooking burgers in McDonald’s is actually more vegan than not doing so because you’ll be supporting vegan products and companies with the money you make.

There are many different ways of looking at this issue, and as a vegan it’s a particularly interesting one, because it’s a big grey area within veganism that you’ll find vegans on either extreme making valid points for or against working in an environment like a McDonald’s, or even a steak house, it’s like the pets question.

Veganism isn’t as simple as “don’t eat meat,” it’s an extremely complex moral philosophy which can seem extremely contradictory from the outside. E.G. Eating road kill is vegan because you’re not creating any demand for animal products, but eating plan crisps is not, if you eating said crisps forces someone else to eat cheese and onion crisps.

Thats a pretty convoluted thing you got going there, but if there is one thing you are good at, its coming up with work arounds to your own principals.

Its just seems to me that someone who likens people who eat eggs to rapists, probably wouldnt want their chosen job to be handling the flesh of dead animals for personal profit when there are plenty of jobs that don't require that, but i guess thats not the case.

Well you tell me what kind of minimum wage job I could get with absolutely no experience that is 100% vegan. Because I don’t see the difference in cooking meat or cleaning the dishes later on from a moral perspective. I’m still working for and supporting the same company, I’m still making that company just about as much money, and my actions either way are going to result in me or someone else doing something that I would consider immoral.

>inb4 work in a vegan business

They’re virtually nonexistent, and there are certainly none around where I live.

>Its just seems to me that someone who likens people who eat eggs to rapists,

I’ve already explained this countless times. There’s a big difference between a persons immoral actions and wether or not they are immoral. Most non-vegans aren’t immoral, but their actions are horrendous.

I found this video a few weeks ago. This guy basically holds the exact same view as me on this topic to the letter. It’s onyl 3 minutes long, I suggest you watch it.
Are Nonvegans Evil?

>plenty of jobs that don't require that,

Again why does I matter if I’m the guy cleaning the dishes or cooking the meat, someone is cooking the meat either way, my choice of employment in this situation doesn’t change anything.

The only vegan option in this situation would be for me not to work, but unfortunately I need a job, and I don’t exactly have a wide array of choices. I’m doing the best I can in my current situation.

My goal is to find the most vegan job possible without reducing my choices to ridiculously small amount. I don’t know why you brought up “handling raw meat,” my plan was to work at the till or something similar, but if that’s what is was given I’d have to take it.

I want to find a job that aligns with my principals as much as possible, but at the same time I have to be realistic. My family has things like debts and bills to pay, and I’d honestly rather work at job that’s “non-vegan” rather than not work at all. I think that’s reasonable condition that otherwise I do the best I can.

It's not even close to 99%.

It's more like 20%.

Regardless, this vegan thing is probably not a good idea, primarily on the fact that veganism as a philosophy is impractical and overall incompatible with the way life works and 9 times out of 10 makes the person who holds the philosophy into a completely insufferable douche.

Veganism isn’t about being perfect, it’s about doing the best you can to reduce animal suffering and exploration. So for example if you were in hospital and they fed you non-vegan food, despite the fact that you requested vegan food you’d still be vegan, because you did the best you could in your given situation.

>9 times out of 10 makes the person who holds the philosophy into a completely insufferable douche.

Yeah, and just a few decades ago you’d be regarded as a degenerate for supporting trans rights. I suppose those people shouldn’t have ostracised themselves, because how people view you is more important than who you actually are, right?

What did it in was she would still use eggs and milk to cook, and i would tell her "you know, your not vegan, you're a vegetarian if your still using milk and eggs" but, just like a lot of vegans, she had a million reasons why it was okay in the moment.
It was just going to be a fight haha. We are still friends though.

Honestly, a majority of the time i find the reason people are vegan is so they can tell people they are vegan, and the real hardcore vegans i know that fully live the lifestyle of their principals, you would never know they are vegan.

There are basically three types of vegans. There are moral vegans, health vegans and passive vegans.

Moral vegans are the type that are vegans because they think it makes them morally superior because they don't "make animals suffer" and more or less villainize anyone who is not vegan.

Health vegans are the type that are absolutely convinced that the vegan lifestyle is the most healthy one because they have this idea that plants are some kind of magical thing that can solve every problem because they ones heard that salad is healthy and didn't get much past that.

Passive vegans are the ones that do it just because they feel like it and are the ones that are least likely to talk about it. These are the rarities.

>in any capacity
I honestly can’t think of a job that wouldn’t be in some way working in or for the “meat industry” in some capacity. Even working in a supermarket you’d be handling non-vegan products or facilitating someone else in doing so.

Because of the way our society is currently structured there isn’t really such a thing as a “vegan” job or 100% completely perfect “vegan” lifestyle. I try to go well out of my way to live by my principals, even dodging things that by most people vegan or not would be considered vegan products, because of my retarded “crisp theory,” but at the same time I need money, especially when I move out of my mums house. Not having a job or restricting my options drastically in that department would make it near impossible for me to live, so a non-vegan job is really my only option, and I’m not going to lie about that because in every other capacity I am doing the best I can.

I can choose what I eat, but at the of the day I need money to eat something. There are obviously exceptions to this, like hunting or working in a slaughterhouse for pay, but as I said no job is 100% “vegan,” so my only two choices are take a job or become some kind of homeless monk.

I've been looking for any information on the subject and quite frankly there are just no solid numbers on this at all from any verifiable sources. Everything regarding this is primarily just speculation, and the figures vary wildly depending on which side it supports.

So there is a good chance these statistics just don't exist.

You’re the one that brought that up. I never intend to sell meat, but I’m applying for a few supermarkets and if they put me in a meat isle I won’t have much of a choice. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in the context of my current situation. I can afford to be picky.

>It sounded like you meant you would eat all the chips in the variety pack so they they wouldnt eat them so fast and would eat the vegan ones as well.

That’s honestly the most retarded thing I’ve ever heard, and that’s coming from me. Ha ha, yeah I don’t eat that, couldn’t afford it even if I wanted to eat it regularly.

My mum actually bought me vegan mince for me a few weeks ago, despite the fact that I keep telling her it’s expensive shit. Unironically the worst thing I’ve ever ate. It literally tasted like fucking rubber, but somehow worse. I was actually gaging while eating it, and I had to spit a good bit of in the bin because I came close to being sick. Vegans that say vegan “meats” taste good are fucking liers.

This is why I never eat that shit. By vegan options I meat fruit, vegetables, rice, pasta, bread, beans, lentils, etc. Basically normal shit that everyone buys. Being vegan doesn’t mean you have to eat overpriced rubber, there are countless vegan options out there, many of which you already eat.

This, basically.

Beans take a lot longer to grow and require more manpower to harvest, prepare and can, so you cannot actually get the same volume from production that you can from chickens who lay like dozens of eggs per day. Contrast that to the fact that you only get one harvest of beans per cycle, and that can take weeks, if not months to grow.

Beans are not as sustainable as eggs.

You realise that chickens have to eat right? They’re not like a bean, you can’t just grow them. When you actually take into account the amount of food you need to grow for a chicken the difference sways in the other direction.

Also chickens aren’t supposed to lay dozens of eggs a day. Eggs are chicken periods, they should be having that many in a year, not in a day. They’re pumped full of hormones to produce that amount of eggs, and it’s extremely painful and puts a massive amount of stress of their bodies.

Yeah and in the wild they actually eat their own eggs because producing them takes a lot of energy and can be quite painful for them.

Why would a creature naturally evolve to just shit out big balls of fat and protein everyday if it wasn’t going to benefit from it in some way?

Besides we aren’t talking about wild chickens, we’re talking about factory farmed chickens who often have to go through this process several times a day, and they don’t receive the vital nutrients and fats they need from their own eggs because you eat them. If laying one egg takes up a lot of energy and puts stress on their bodies imagine what laying several would do to their bodies, especially considering that they don’t get to eat their own eggs.

The worst thing is that eggs are pure shit health wise. They’re full of cholesterol and saturated fat. There’s literally no justifiable reason for humans to eat them.

That’s not old in comparison to a lot studies that are still floating about. Plus a study being in of itself doesn’t invalidate that study. If a scientific experiment is done in 1890 which proves the effectiveness of electric trams do we need to do the entire study all over again every few decades, merely because the old study is “old?” Thats not how science works, you have to disprove something with new data, you can’t just say “but it’s old.”

As a side note, my phone ran out of charge while I was out, so I didn’t mange to get a good happy dogo picture, but I think this’ll do.

You do realize that scientific data is worthless if you don't test it over and over again?

This study also doesn't state how many people were used, how many people it used for it's baseline, and hell, if they did another study with instead of 2 eggs a day it did 2 every other day to prove the difference.

>you have to disprove something with new data

And in this argument you have to prove something. You proved that eating eggs literally every day could be bad for you. Sure, most things are bad if you don't put variety in your diet.

It was an analogy, not a comparison. Besides you can get all of those nutrients from other foods. If I cared about a single egg ruining my health I certainly wouldn’t be drinking the occasional energy juice.

I don’t think I need medication, I just have an over active brain. I doubt that thinking about ponies all day instead of paying attention to signs in the street is curable.

I don’t even know what kind of medication you’d take for something like that.

Meditation.
Medi-T-ation

That kind of proves the point.
You're always having trouble because you look over and miss the details and fill them in with assumptions.

Like, someone asked you about how you feel about being "ditzy" and you went on a long winded post about how much you like china, completely out of the blue, because you looked at the picture but didnt read the words.

Yeah, I’m really starting to think that I have some kind of undiagnosed minor dyslexic, because 90% of the problem seems to be with reading or writing.

>fill them in with assumptions.

That isn’t intentional, my brain just naturally fills in the blank.

>ditzy

I only just got that. I couldn’t understand why everyone was saying that I was going off on an unrelated tangent. I thought his post was referring to his picture. I know you give me shit for bringing it up, but I genuinely think a lot of these instances are “please be patient I have autism” moments.

Of course your brain fills in the blanks, thats not a mental disorder thats just a primitive survival tactic.

The problem is, you acted on that assumption to quickly. You saw the picture, and just assumed what the words were about without reading them. The initial assumption, we all make, but then its important to confirm it.

I dont think you have a mental disorder (in this case), i dont think its the autism i think you just need to slow down.

To put it bluntly, your a fucking spaz haha. But you dont have to be, you just need to make a conscious decision to do better.
Its something i have to do too, and when i feel myself fucking it up, i have to refocus.
I find mediTation helps, a lot.

Sorry, I had to go.

I actually read through the text first and then assumed that he was talking about the picture. That’s a pretty weird picture to just randomly post.

He asked “what do you think of this ditzification thing?” and I assumed that by “thing” he was referring to the picture.

>I find mediTation helps, a lot.

As you’ve seen from your stalking, my behaviour has generally improved over the past two weeks, and that’s mostly due to medication. I’m sure I can apply that to this, although it may be a bit more difficult, considering that this is entirely subconscious.

Also whenever I use ponyville from now on all I’ll be able to think about is this face, watching and judging my every post. Well done, I think you’ve given me nightmares.

You're not special, I've always lurked that site, especially after becoming a mod, because the community is like 75% the same people and problems there can come here and vice versa, and watching how they deal with it can help when im thinking about what to do.
The only reason i ever posted at you there was because i felt semi responsible for unleashing your focused autism upon them, and thought it would help calm you down, and obviously it helped, at least little bit, because its on your mind.

Anyway, so you do meditate? Even though you typed medicate, i assume thats what you meant.

Ha ha, what a fucking mess. But seriously as I’ve said before, Brazie records little meditation-like files for me. They help keep me from sperging out on ponyville, and maybe I could apply those to this.

Although I have noticed that over the past two months or so my “dyslexia” seems to have gotten worse. I honestly don’t know why that is, because I haven’t changed anything in my lifestyle since then.

>Why don’t you post there, just out of curiosity?
For a few reasons.
For 1 i feel like a lot of the people who post there dont really care for me or my opinions, so i dont want to butt in by just enforcing my presence.
I dont want to keep track of changing personalities and preferences, for instance, ephemeral goes by "rose" there and "ephemeral" here, and if i refer to him as "rose" here, he gets upset, but there his name is rose... And its just confusion i dont want that leads to offense i dont intend, so it easier to avoid it.
I don't want to be modded at. I have a feeling that the mods there who dont know me (which is most) have an impression of me, and would be extra attentive, especially braze, so since causing drama is not at all something i intend, but i do speak brashly a lot, i dont want to be concerned with censoring myself beyond the respect i always try to show.
I know a lot of people are tribalistic about message boards, so i dont want to get caught up in any of that ether.
Also, i generally dont like politicians, and political procedures in my leisure, and that place is a constant political procedure. Imo i feel like i wouldnt really get to know anyone there, in the way i can here, under those circumstances, and i have no other point to posting on the internet aside from that.

I dont have anything against that site, or the people who post there, or else i wouldnt have taken interest in you causing trouble there haha. If people like that atmosphere, i think thats great that they have a place to go, its just not my thing.
Tbh, i think having 2 sites with so many of the same users in such a small community is kind of silly.
>maybe I could apply those to this.
Maybe. Meditation is normally devoid from added noise and is more about letting the mind wander and learning how to ignore that never ending internal conversation, so that you can focus on the external world. At least, thats what i use it for.
>I honestly don’t know why that is, because I haven’t changed anything in my lifestyle since then.
Are you kidding? You started a new school, a whole new routine, you started a relationship, you've been through a bunch of trying social situations... I would say a lot has changed in the past 2 months.
Could be a contributor.

To be fair those are pretty much the exact reasons that I didn’t use the the site up until my /ef/ ban as well.

>Tbh, i think having 2 sites with so many of the same users in such a small community is kind of silly.

I honestly don’t know where you get that impression from. ~80% of ponyville’s users seem to rarely if ever use this site. I can’t think of anyone other than me, Rose, and Tracer.

>Meditation is normally devoid from added noise and is more about letting the mind wander and learning how to ignore that never ending internal conversation, so that you can focus on the external world.

So far the method I’ve been using has worked out great, but I’ll try to keep that in mind.

>You started a new school, a whole new routine,

Ha, I hadn’t really thought of that. I’ve also been stressing the fuck out over these job applications. I went for an appointment at job centre a few days ago thinking that they would help me get a job. They told me that they can only help people who are on welfare or some kind of government assistance, and since I’m not on anything they aren’t willing to help me. Then the guy offered to “help” sign me up to a welfare program so they could help me get a job. This lead into an argument in which I insist that I didn’t want, nor did my mum want me to be on welfare, and the whole point of me getting a job is so I wouldn’t have to go on welfare. He just kept telling that he couldn’t do anything unless I was signed up to some kind of government program, because the job centre is meant to help people “get off welfare and into a job.” So I ended up leaving with nothing.

I talked to my mum and she says that if I can’t get anything by the end of the month that I’ll just have to sign up for welfare, a good chunk of which will go to her. She’s been the main one to rail against it, but it’s not as if we’d be just claiming it frivolously. Hopefully those fuckers will at least suggest a few places to me then.

That’s no doubt a good contributor towards it.

>you started a relationship,

That was just a month ago, I’ve been noticing myself get a little, well “ditzy” for at least the past two months.

>you've been through a bunch of trying social situations...

Social situations don’t bother me too much. I generally don’t like them, but it’s no big problem.

I can think of more.
I dont think you posting there is a negative thing tbh. You wanted to learn self control, and that kind of place i think is beneficial to you. Plus, you got a relationship out of it, so there is that.
You always say you like more control over what people can see/say and thats what its like. Its like a mini CCP haha. (Not at all that bad).
The situation your in, both here and there, is basically the situation you want to see for others so you cant really complain.
You are the minority.

Thats a pretty messed up system to put people on welfare to help them get off welfare. I dont think that will pan out in the long run.
Frim what I've seen, you've put a lot of limitations on yourself reguarding jobs. What job listings are you using to find one? Can you use the indeed app in the UK?

So yeah, you've had a lot going on, and if you haven't been managing it then it could be a cause for your being scatter brained lately, or at least more than normal. The social situations i mean are the ef and pville situations.

It’s like an inversion of the CCP. A homophobic Mike Pence meme was literally just removed about half an hour ago, if it was a CCP site 99.99999999999% of the sites user base would be kicked off and lose at least 100 social credit points for being LGBT.

Also Rose is going to China with his dad tomorrow on some kind of geological expedition. It would be interesting if he made a thread about that.

>Thats a pretty messed up system to put people on welfare to help them get off welfare.

No doubt an SNP regulation that was intended to help the most needy in society. I imagine the rationale was that people at the bottom (those on welfare) are the most needy, and therefore they should be prioritised above everyone else. And now the only people who can get any real assistance in employment are those who largely don’t want it because they just choose to stick it out on welfare instead, and the people who are trying are forced under if they want any help.

>Can you use the indeed app in the UK?

That’s the app my sister recommended to me. I downloaded it, but I don’t use it. I use google maps to find places near me, and then I go to their site and enter the post code I found.

I mean in theory, not in practice.
What gets censored and removed depends on who is in power at the time, that it gets censored and removed is the power that you want the government to have.
You're in the minority in that community, so you have no right complain.
Again, there is a huge difference between the micro and the macro scale in this situation, but if you dont like it on the micro, then good chance you wouldn't like it on the macro.
At the moment, pville can do that, and its fine, whatever, its the community they want privately, but on the macro, they would be forced to do it, and so would pchan, and every other website for that matter. Great if you agree with what they are censoring, terrible if you dont. Right now, your the minority so too bad for you, right?

I would check out the listings on that app if you are serious about finding a job, its a much more efficient way of finding one than just randomly looking on gmaps.

>You're in the minority in that community, so you have no right complain.
I’m not in favour of the censorship of individuals either IRL or on the Internet, especially on something as innocuous as an imageboard. If a big YouTube channel with millions of subscribers started advocating consistently for open boarders on their channel and people were getting behind it then I’d probably take them down from that platform, but I wouldn’t censor them altogether and there certainly wouldn’t be any criminal charges, and if someone with a negligible following wants to advocate for that then I couldn’t care less. My censorship would only target the media and big corporations, with exceptional cases for extremely influential people. I’m sure I could make a loophole by defining any internet platform with a following of over 500,000 a media outlet, but even then I would only ban them in very extreme cases.

That’s extremely tame compared to even the current UK law, in which this guy The Jailing Of Billy Charlton was recently jailed for 21 months for supposedly “stirring up racial tensions,” despite the fact that he never brought up race, or this mother who was arrested for missgendering someone. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6687123/amp/Mother-arrested-children-calling-transgender-woman-man.html My proposals seem like the first amendment+1 in comparison to most of Europe right now.

>if you are serious about finding a job, its a much more efficient way of finding one than just randomly looking on gmaps.

That’s how I got my interview for McDonald’s, and despite failing the rest of my applications I’ve found quite a few places through it. I don’t think it’s better or worse, it’s just a preference.

I’m going to apply for two or three places tomorrow. To be honest I haven’t applied for anything since I was rejected from the last one a few days ago. I don’t have more college until Monday, so I have no excuse not to do it.

Alright.
Just remember, when you go on welfare, you wont have the "I'm not on welfare just my mom who supports me" argument when you get called out for the hypocrisy of complaining about people on welfare, anymore.

Though, something tells me the moment you sign up, your ideals will switch from "dirty welfare queens" to "welfare is a good" since they are mostly based on your immediate situation and surroundings and conform to them fluidly.

Seriously, fug you!

I have been actually putting a lot of effort into this, I even got to dress up like a total dork for my first interview. I’ve applied for about 20 places so far, contacted, booked and appointment for, and went to the job centre myself. It’s not like I just showed up cap in hand and asked for free gibs, and I don’t intend to do so unless it’s absolutely necessary.

I don’t think I talked about this on here but a few months ago me and my mum went to see an autism specialist to renew my DLA/Disability Living Allowance, all of which my mum received, and just about a month ago she stopped receiving chid benefit for my sister because she turned 16. We already had nothing, but now my mums struggling to scrap up money for food and bus tickets. And despite this my mum still doesn’t want me to be on welfare, I don’t want to be on welfare, and I’ve been trying to get a job for awhile now, maybe not my best, but I have put in a decent amount of effort. Welfare is more of a last resort “holy shit we can’t put food on the table” solution, and ideally it would be only temporary until I get a job through the “job centre.”

Plus my mum would be taking the vast majority of this. She made it clear that if I get a job she’ll let me keep most of my money, but I sign up she’s taking it to for food and bills.

When I complain about welfare I’m talking about people who aren’t looking for employment and don’t need it, they’re just going on it because it’s free money. I think my situation is a little different, especially considering that I’m not getting any outside help until I sign up. But regardless, I hope I don’t have to.

You also say that people ignore, which is true, but that’s only because you rarely post, and when you do you usually only post a sentence or two. Try making at least a handful of posts per day, or even every other day, and make them a bit longer than your usual posts. No one’s going to want to talk to you if you just post memes behind a fake name or complain about how much everyone hates you. In conclusion, stop being such a faggot, and if you want people to talk to you you’re going to have to talk to them more often.

Ikr, so boo hoo.

Seems a nice day here in real life tho. From the looks of it, not everyone's getting balmy mild sun with gentle occasional breeze like i am rn.

So now i can be pitied and envied at the same time. Good right?

To be honest this is basically why you keep getting such negative responses from people here. You insinuate that we're all a bunch of fun-hating tyrants that will lose our shit at the slightest provocation.

Literally nobody cares if you mention ponyville here. The only thing we are against is actively trying to get people to leave here to join that site instead. For quite a while now you've regarded most of the regular posters here as jerks that are just out to be mean to you for no reason, and in doing so you've made all those people actively dislike you because they don't appreciate being characterized as evil tyrants.

It's really subtle, but this pic gives the impression that the lower half of your face is sloping down to the left, and the upper half is sloping up to the left.
