>>496290Silence Suzuka, the horse I'm posting, was an incredibly fast horse. He was also a stallion. They genderbent him and most of the other horses for the sake of cute girls.
Silence Suzuka did not just win races. He absolutely
destroyed races. In 1998, he won one race by a distance of nine lengths (about 72 feet) and only lost once.
Said loss was in the Autumn Tenno Sho, or Emperor's Cup, which is one of the biggest races in Japan. He was leading by twelve lengths (that's 96 feet) by about halfway through, but then he misstepped so hard that he broke his leg. And when horses break their legs, they get put down.
In the game, it's entirely possible to win said race with Suzuka. They even have a little subplot about it. Everyone's kind of hesitant about her running because she hurt her leg recently and this might aggravate it, but she's insistent and promises she'll come back. It's pretty emotional.
