I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm not sure it matters.>>386413
To elaborate on >>386413
, reality is a bit different from what you see on message boards or Discord. Online, you can make yourself appear any way you like. In real life, there's only so much you can change about yourself. So my experience was with one "person" (that is, one physical being) who had 7 different groups of mannerisms, 7 slightly different appearances according to things like articles of clothing and accessories, and divergent interests that I had a difficult time keeping track of.
My apartment and our living situation wasn't exactly conducive to hanging out for long periods of time. Add to that, I worked a lot. When I wasn't working, I was exhausted - physically or mentally. Plus I'm an introvert. Most of them also seemed to be quite introverted as well. Taking all that together, our daily time together was pretty limited. If you've ever had a roommate who you got along with fine, but didn't hang out with often, then you've got a good idea of how things went. But now imagine that instead of one roommate, it's a different person every day.
I had pleasant experiences with all of them. I was happy to have them as roommates and would happily invite them back. But I didn't spend the many hours needed to really get to know someone in person - 7 times over - and so it was something of a pleasant but confusing blur. and that's nothing against them
- that's due to my own limitations. But I've probably spent more time conversing with any of them over Discord before we met, than we did in person while they were here.>>386497
So I'm not too concerned with any of the major revelations in this thread. If having an 8th personality makes them happy, then good for them.
As interesting as the drama in this thread might be, I don't like the idea of posting private chat logs like this.
