So, seems some rumours on the internet are doing the rounds that old Queen Elizabeth is dead.

Of course, far from the first time this has happened, been rumours before but thought it would be worth getting a discussion thread started.

Worth noting the rumours seemingly came from a dick pic sharing wattsapp group, which normally in any situation would made the rumours nonsense...

But I mean, if you were going to lie/prank about the Queen being dead would you really do it from a dic sharing group? Seems a little too bizarre and wacky to be fake, you know?

Won't post the original message, but it was someone informing that they or someone they know works in the army and they have been briefed about the situation.

Other people have since chimed in saying they have heard similar from others working in the army.

Of course, might not be the queen. Could be any member of the royal family, or even a training exercise.

Either way, apparently if true the knowledge of her death will be made public at 9:30AM UK time tomorrow morning.

In related news, stories have been circulating about what Prince Charles is planning for both the extended royal family and his plans to abandon using Buckingham Palace as his primary residence. Charles had never been a fan of spending on all the royal properties and sees an end ahead for the tradition of such a lavish full time residence for himself. The family will still have homes on the grounds but even that will come into question if Charles has his way.

In the wake of Charles' younger brother Prince Andrew, his goal is officially stripping the family members down to his own children and their wives as heirs to the throne. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has been vocal about the subject and is in agreement with Prince Charles in this matter.

One last tidbit in one of the articles below indicates that the Queen has already set in motion a plan to quietly end her public involvement in the role as Queen despite not being able to formally resign. It's been well documented that both the Queen and her husband have cleared any future public and/or official appearances beginning sometime in mid 2021.
