Its the same spices but a different texture. Its not very juicy like a pork sausage, but the flavour is similar.
I like it, and its a lot better for you and more sustainable.

Yup! We have those races in the bay, but they do a bad job of announcing it so its always a big cluster fk haha.

Thats awesome, they are fun to watch and you have a nice wide open spot. They drag race or through a course?

Do what I did, start with eggs.
Learn how to do that well.
Move on to chicken, do that well.
Over time you'll get used to how it all works and get comfortable moving on to more exotic things.

Also, YouTube helps... a lot.

Yeah I've ruined tons of stuff before. But honestly it's somewhat fun anyway, take it all as a learning experience. Lots of things I've ruined became things I knew to never to do that again.

Overcooking/undercooking is one, but other times I've tried to take shortcuts that ruined the whole dish, or tried making a substitution that just turned out awful. Basically trial and error of what things you can change.

So I thought my friend jipped me on the tenticals when he gave me some squid.
But nope!
Found some.

This is just another "cook everything in my fridge at the end of the week" situation.
Chopped up the squid and fried in butter for a bit. Cooked up a pepper some garlic and the rest of an onion in olive oil.

Tossed the squid and butter into the veggie pan, along with some spinach and kale that was getting a little soggy haha.

Threw on some red pepper seeds and Italian seasoned bread crumbs. Came out alright.

I forgot to mention I doused the squid in garlic powder before I chopped it up too.

This would have been a good time to have had a lemon haha.
