These are the 3 historical figures I hold the most amount of respect for and put all my time and energy into trying to be like, what can I do beyond what I'm already doing to become the composite mix of these 3 individuals?

You can't just ASSUME what people want and then get mad at then when they don't live up to your expectations.

That is a first class ticket to having everything get fucked.

Steam, waifus are a meme for most part. There are only like two people on the site that take it seriously and one of those has no interest in sharing anything about it with anyone and the other doesn't like you in any capacity. Basically everyone else uses "waifu" as shorthand for "sexy character". It doesn't mean they actually want them to be real or actually marry them.

I've explained this to you before.

That's the thing. I'm afraid that in a week we will have this conversation again.

How about instead of screenshotting all the hurtful things people say to you, instead you screenshot the helpful things people say to you so you can remember them?

>It doesn't mean they actually want them to be real or actually marry them.

I mean. I wouldn't go that far. A lot of people wouldn't mind things that are sexy or appealing being real. It's just they don't assume it's possible for them to be real and last I checked Steam doesn't actually either since his whole thing about that wasn't actually about making waifus real just improving your life.

My point is that most people here aren't willing to or desire to do some zen Buddhist bullshit to fool their brain into thinking their waifu is a real person.

Also the primary problem with the thread is that it didn't actually make it very clear what it was actually about until some other anon figured it out, and by then the thread was a trash fire.

And my point with the latter part of my post is he wasn't trying to suggest doing that either unless I missed something. Which is possible I guess. It would be strange if he went from an entirely an entirely symbolic thing to actually suggesting to make waifus real (which is what everyone thought he was doing with the symbolic stuff but he wasn't)

Do you really expect a person who feels persecuted by the group to improve while the trolls are provoking him all the time?

Steam, you have alienated more people every time you group others together with the trolls. Soon there will be no one here actually interested in being constructive towards you.

I think the best thing Toy said is the waterfall training analogy. Because you can't tune out Tracer and the other trolls, your threads end up being about nothing but trolling you.

Sad fact is, this site is pretty dead a lot of the time and Tracer only comes to pony boards looking for people to pick on. His life sucks and he's looking to you, to find some sick entertainment. I'm not really sure this is a good place for you to hang out. I only come here to find the few pony people i can, who want to be nice and make friends. Im pretty sure im getting rottener and more shitposty all the time. I dunno whats best for us but, somehow you gotta find a way to ignore the assholes and respond in ways that don't make more people dislike you. Something i have done a shitty job of, personally. But i have plenty of people irl who like me, so for me it doesn't really matter all that much; i'm kinda getting fond of being abused here. Anyway. I dont think responding to people that upset you is helping you make friends here.

I come here to alleviate boredom and talk with people. There are plenty of people here that I enjoy and don't shit on. Admittedly those people aren't creepy old men or passive aggressive posters who hate everyone. So about 8 people here are plesant to talk with.

Dude. I've tried everything. I was hoping I could use this thread as a way of framing the motivation in a way he would be on board with, such as with the waterfall training, then he said "I'll try" and then the very first post that poked at him made him snap.

I'm seriously running out of ideas. I've been trying to help him for literally years and every time I think I make some progress the SECOND anyone says something stupid he immediately reverts back to the way he was 4 years ago. I'm running out of fucking options.

I'm not trying to be mean, it's just frustrating because I want to see you succeed and when it looks like you're on the right track some person will pop out of the bushes and make a comment and you'll let everything you worked for completely just drop to the floor and shatter just so you can run after them and call them stupid. Then it feels like starting all over again. You need to learn to not let things like that bother you and let it destroy everything you've worked for.

That's why I used the waterfall analogy. The waterfall is people making hateful comments. Calling you stupid, retarded, etc. You need to let them hit you, bounce off and get washed away. Take a deep breath, ignore it and focus on what your goals are. Don't let it distract you.

To be honest perhaps next time you take a shower you can actually practice this, stand under the water, close your eyes and pretend the water doesn't exist. Focus on something outside of the water until you no longer notice it. Then use that and apply it to people saying mean things.

I enjoyed it so much I would give anything to relive it and have gone out of my way to do exactly that, there are aspects of my modern day life where I attempt to replicate the past, for example

I have a Block Buster clamshell case I keep a Famicom multi cart in containing every NES game I ever rented,

I had a thread simulating T.V. From the early 90's until Mikie saged it,

I buy Kool-Aid occasionally because of the nostalgic memories it brings back, I never liked the taste but there was a time it was all we had so I drink it to bring back those memories,

I go on walks at night to simulate the days I wondered out of the house without anyone knowing,

I smoke pipe tobacco because the smell reminds me of my grandfather who never once got angry with me even when I fucked up horribly,

I carry a fake Time Turner around with me so that I can pretend I've gone back to 1993,

There's a guy I buy and sell used retro games to and from and I always meet him in front of a salon called "Great Clips" because the name sounds like it could pass for a video rental store, so in my fantasy I'm going there to return the games I rented and now I'm renting some more.

I remember being told as a kid to enjoy my childhood as much as I could because it won't last forever and I take comfort in the fact that I took those words seriously and enjoyed every minute of it as much as I could.

My mother was your typical average parent and my father wasn't really in my life, he was around he existed but that was about it I'd go to his house for visitation but I basically was more so like a pet for him to take care of, he'd rent video games for me to play the whole time there while he went and did his own thing most of the time, from what I can recall the abuse started at about age 9 and only got worse then onward, my happiest memory of him was the time he started a physical altercation with me ending with me punching him as hard as I could in the face.
