In fact it's actually quite amazing that such a culture was able to sustain a population of well over 50,000 without any form of centralized currency. Their society was so efficient that it didn't actually require any form of centralized economy to make it successful, unlike China in which the divide between the elite and the peasantry was incredibly wide and had to managed and regulated by hired thugs which served as local police forces.

From what I can tell, the Zulu culture was a fine oiled machine, perhaps more simple than the Chinese, but more simple does not always mean worse or less efficient. From an engineering point of view, if you can make something just as effective with less parts, that is considered a vast improvement. Considering the Zulu still exist in populations of over 1 million, I would consider it quite a successful society, seeing as how Roman and ancient Chinese dynasties no longer exist, despite being toted as "superior".

China is more or less just a cheap knockoff of Western culture at this point, purely capitalistic but without the safeguards in place to protect workers and the environment. Fitting for the #1 source of cheap knockoffs in the world.

That's because they weren't able to form a currency, something that most civilisation accomplished millennia ago.

Are you really implying that Zulu culture was just as effective or impressive as Chinese culture?

>I would consider it quite a successful society, seeing as how Roman and ancient Chinese dynasties no longer exist despite being toted as "superior"

Zulu culture doesn't exist ethier, the few people who still practice it are no better than the pagan larpers on /pol/, they at best follow a warped and massively diluted version of their ancestors culture. Roman and Chinese culture may have evolved over the past few millennia, but one decade of either cultures history is vastly more interesting than all Zulu history combined.

Ask yourself this would you rather live in Rome 2 thousand years ago or with a bunch of Zulus in any era? Next you'll tell me that's British culture is no more superior than Native American culture.

TBH, I would probably have wanted to live with the Zulus because the Romans would have probably thrown me off a cliff for being sickly or used me as Colosseum fodder for being unfit for military service.

Both of them would probably have been shitty to live in, I would have probably just lasted longer and had a less painful death in Zulu society.

As for native Americans, their culture is actually pretty rich and diverse. They were pretty advanced for their time, so much so that records indicate that they managed to drive off a Viking invasion at one point, which is no small feat.

Their culture is also what allowed the Allies to win WWII, because the Allies hired native Navajo to transmit their messages in their native language, since no one in Europe had any experience with the Navajo language, they were unable to translate any of the messages.

The Viking didn't invade America, a small ship carrying around 40 Viking, at best went from Iceland to North America and back, you can hardly call that an invasion

I actually decided to look up a timeline Europe over the last 100 years:
1900 - 2000
1914 - 1918: World War I occurred throughout Europe
1930's: Great Depression weakened European economies
1933: Adolf Hitler became Chancellor Germany
1939: Winston Churchill became prime minister of Britain
1939 - 1945: World War II occurred throughout the world. Hitler created concentration camps for Jews. Russia expanded their country. Mussolini overthrown in Italy.
1944: D-Day landing in Normandy by allies
1945: Hitler committed suicide; Germany surrendered
1946 - 1990: Cold War took place between USSR and the United States
1957: USSR launched Sputnik into space
1978: World's first successful &test-tube& baby born in Great Britain
1989: Poland overthrew communism. Berlin Wall demolished
1991: USSR collapsed, Cold War ended
1992: Maasricht treaty created European Union
1995: CERN in Switzerland created antihydrogen atoms
2002: The European Union released the Euro as a new form of currency
2003: Ten thousand people died in heat wave in France
2005: French protestors rioted in the streets. Pope John Paul II died. Bomb attack on three of London's underground trains killed 56, injured over 700
2007 - 2009: Russia attacked Georgia
2008: Former Bosnian Serb President Radovan Karadzic arrested on charges of genocide
2010: Polish President, Lech Kaczynski and 96 other passengers and crew, killed in airplane crash
2011: Greeks rioted in the streets over government and economic troubles

I'm impressed.
