Thats a lot of construction in 5 years.
I honestly hope my city stays right where it is as far as buildings.

Its like time square, but shorter.

Been there a few times. Great city for vacations, but it seems horrible to live in. Every single house or apartment looks the fucking same from the outside, and it's just weird and depressing.

Dumb story, but when I first went to meet Cross, I took the train from York to King's Cross, and he was out in Heathrow Airport. He was landing early in the morning, and the last train arrived there around midnight. No problem, I figured, I'll just bring some snacks and drinks and a book and wait for a few hours. Well, turns out the Tube closes at night, just around the time I arrived. So what do I do? Well, I walk.

Now, if you look at a map of London, from King's Cross to Heathrow, you should immediately see why this was a bad idea. But I figured, I had 6 hours or so, might as well spend them. So I walked. I walked pretty far. I got down to Hyde Park, found a hotel I once stay at with my family which was fun, and kept walking and walking. Eventually, the neighborhoods got pretty damn sketchy. Pretty sure I walked past the beginning of a murder at one point. Then it got industrial.

Eventually, I reached the roundabout out by the Saudi Embassy, and I took a bus the rest of the way because I was exhausted. Meeting up was also a bitch, because there were three planes from New York coming in at that time, and I picked the wrong one to wait for. Cross managed to get onto Ponychan, where he made a thread asking for someone to message me, which Daxam did, through Skype, on my phone which was at, like, 8% battery.

That was a wild night.

Always wild in London

To be fair only the new buildings look the same, council.

Hundreds of old buildings all beautiful. Hell, most of them are probably older than your country.

(Also I have nothing against Denmark or the Danish. You brought us clogs, windmills and Toblerone chocolate! And your international team is always been a favourite of mine. And peter schmeichel was such a fantastic goalkeeper;

And I think it's fair to say his sons not done too bad either

As a fan of glass ceilings this one's a good one. You can tell a lot of effort was put into it, clearly well kept and maintained.

And it looks rad as hell.

Just curious, but when you visited England did you notice any differences between here/England and Denmark, culturally or otherwise?

Well, I lived in York for 7 months. Main difference I noticed is that British people are more willing to talk to you, but when they do, they maintain this polite veneer that makes the interactions feel insincere. Much like America in that respect, though it's a more jovial veneer with Americans (But no more sincere). Whereas with Danish people, it's difficult to strike up a conversation, but when you do talk to them, it's more straightforward, which I find easier to deal with.

Irish people were open like the British, but straightforward like the Danes, which both made things easier, but also more difficult (Because whereas a Danish person who doesn't like you will politely pretend you're not there, and a British person will politely treat you the same as they would if they did like, an Irish person will loudly announce their low opinion of you).

Yeah trust me, we only tend to be polite as all of us Brits have an innate fear of social awkwardness that gives us nightmares

Hell, we barley look at each other on the bus or the train to try and avoid eye contract with anyone as that just leads to even more awkwardness

Think it must be more fun for us Brits who have never been to Washington, as opposed to Americans playing the game who have probably been to Washington IRL lots of times

Would be strange though, already had two games in Vice City, with both Vice City and Vice City Stories being there.

Then again that was with early 2000's tech, would be amazing with modern tech

Would love some of the Florida swamps, driving around in one of those hovercar things gunning down alligators and shit
