The user base here is strangulated enough in that /oat/ is so slow as it is and /ef/ gets all the traffic. Now that there's chat, I'm not personaly all that sure what the diferance is between /chat/ and /oat/ since /oat/ and then later /chat/ just for containment of the many seriols we used to have (now the only seriol on it is /b/ and friends).
Please help me understand the difference between /oat/ and /chat/, why the user base should be split between two boards (for the non-/ef) demographic) and what this will mean for new users that arrive and don't understand the difference as well.
Part of my concern is that new users will be just as confused as to where to post.
It's a good idea, though, so I'm not against it. I liked /chat/ but will this kill off /oat/?
