Honestly... Im a fan of OFWGKTA. They are a young group of kids who want to have fun and get a name for themselves. and they have some bars... Also they make they own shit, and they are not signed to anyone... I havent seen anyone like that group before to come from nothing and blow up like they did. I mean, i might not agree with some of the things they talk about (i.e. Rape, Killing, Fucking dead bodies.) but the lines they use to describe it are amazing. You have to be fucking twisted to same some of those lines. But arent we all twisted when we look at ourselves. Rather them rap about than actually doing...
Also, Frank Ocean is an amazing singer/song-writer.
He also does alot of ghost writting. He even wrote songs for Drake and Beyonce... yes nigga.. Beyonce.
>>196
Hmmm okay Okay... she has a few bars... I'll give her that but I think Lola Monroe could give her a run for her money... Check her out.

Don't get it twisted, every MC has their off stuff, but Jean Grae's back catalogue puts her above just about every other female MC in my opinion.

The difference between Jean Grae and just about every other female MC out there is her lane. Jean Grae isn't in the 'female MC' lane, she's in the MC lane. Which means she has a lot more competition in comparison, yet she still shines through.

And if we're talking female MCs Njeri Earth deserves a mention, as well as Bahamadia and of course Lauryn Hill.

>>206

I can't do OFWGKTA, they've always seemed like kiddie horrorcore to me. I mean, that just might be me, because... Well... Look at my name. That's my favorite rapper. I grew up on this album.

I think OF are kinda cool, i mean, they are kids and they have achieved a lot, really. The problem with them is their fanbase and how they're really overhyped. Frank Ocean is REALLY REALLY good too.

And for Lil B, i think he's fun. It's like if the music and persona was a whole parody. Just looking at his video titles make me laugh.

>Gucci Mane
Great ear for beats, bad at everything that makes an MC an MC though.

>Rick Ross
Meh, besides a single decent verse here and there he's kind of lame. His story telling is terrible and his punchlines are just bad... Plus he can't spit more than 5 words without gasping for breath.

>Don Trip
Only heard Human Torch 3 by him, it was okay.

>Nas
Undeniably great, but like most great artists he's sort of overrated by his crowd. He's released a fair amount of bad albums as well, but still... Illmatic, IWW, God's Son and Stillmatic can all be called classics. Guys undoubtedly a legend.

>Wu-Tang Clan
Second best hip hop group of all time, imo, but really their strength is in their solo work. First two group albums were amazing though. Past that t's hit and miss.
GZA>Ghostface>Inspectah Deck>Raekwon>Method Man>RZA>Masta Killa>ODB>U-God

>Eazy-E
Meh. I didn't like N.W.A in general. Eazy had a nice flow and voice, but still. Lyrics were pretty lame, and he didn't even write his own lyrics, so.... He's whatever to me.

Ice Cube
About the same as Eazy, except his flow and voice isn't as nice, but he did write his own lyrics... And Eazy's.

>Pac
Good, but overrated. He really shouted over beats too much for me to like him that much though. Insanely overrated.

>Notorious B.I.G
Overrated as well, but I like him much more than Pac, he could ride a beat like nobodies business. I find it hard to put him on the same level as Nas, simply because he only was alive to release 2 albums though... If Nas died after IWW people would probably have decided he was GOAT as well, since his first two albums were honestly a lot better than Biggie's discography.

Meeh. Hes no where near the best rapper ever. But damn does he know how to get out there and make great colabs with other people. Dont believe me? Check out hes new Mixtape. 'Rich Forever' Shit sounds like a fucking album. I mean he has everyone on that bitch. Diddy, Drake, Kelly Rowland, WALE THO!!! even John Legend... JOHN FUCKING LEGEND... ON A MIXTAPE!!! like I dont even? But thats not to even mentioning he has TWO albums coming out this year. 'Y.O.L.O. (You Only Live Once)' a colab with Drizzy Drake. and 'God Forgives and I Don't'... This is why Rick Ross is the man of the year... and hes gonna be it again.. He's the Boss man.
/Nicki Minaj voice
>Wu-Tang
my list would go like this...
Ghostface>Raekown the chef>M.E.T.H.O.D. MAAAN!!>Inspectah Deck>GZA>ODB>RZA>Masta Killa>U-God.
lolol U-God sucked... without a doubt.
>Biggie Smalls

I'm not saying that all foreign hip hop is bad, but it's just not usually as good as American hip hop. It's stuck with late 80s rhyme schemes 99% of the time with too much rock influence in the production... Just the greats of foreign hip hop never really measure up to the greats of american hip hop.

And MF DOOM is pretty awesome, Madvillain is his best work imo.

Lastly, why is GZA so low on your list?! Liquid Swords!! Liquid freakin' Swords man!

To everyone, The Roots, thoughts on them? In my opinion, the greatest Hip Hop group of all time. Yet to find any group that could truly compare to the 9th Dynasty Crew.

Hmm I see. I can see what you mean by that. thats mostly Asian Hip=Hop, Also I love classic Turntables DJing. So I can see how I have a bias opinion on 80's sounds because I perfere that sound than a newer song with all bass.

I think Madvillian is one of the most under-rated Hip-Hop duos in the game. I remeber when Madvilliany came out, No one gave 2 shits because guess who... Kan-Yeezy first came on the scene with College Drop-Out. Which dont get me wrong... AMAZING. but Madvilliany went on deaf ear. Oh and dont worry kiddies... We will go over Yeezy in a later lesson...

>GZA
>Liquid Swords
Meeh, I mean That Album was amazing. and not to mention that song is god-tier, You arent a rapper if you havent done a free-style on it. BUT, the only reason that album was good was cuz of RZA. Not to mention that GZA didnt really stand out in WU. The only 3 that everyone talks about is Ghostface, Method man, and ODB... and maybe Raekown if you know Wu.

Mainstream hip hop. To be honest, I don't like most of it. Not because it's "mainstream" or anything, I just feel like a lot of it is very generic. Take this for example:
and compare it to this:
The reason I don't like the Tyga song is...well, he yells about bitches for 3 minutes. Now obviously Tyga's got MUCH better stuff than that, but compare that song to MF DOOM's Kookies. A song about pornography where he never actually talks about porno by clever use of double entendres. I personally enjoy rap - or any genre - with more meaningful lyrics, you know? Also, I hate Tyga's voice with a passion

However, that's not to say I dislike all mainstream rappers. There's plenty of famous people out there I listen to.

Mainstream hip hop has some great lyricists, I'unno why people act like it doesn't.

- Lupe Fiasco
- Nas
- Common
- Andre 3000
- Black Thought

That said 'm not a big party hip hop person, I mean I'm not one of those 'real hip hop' idiots who says it's not actually hip hop, just not for me.

Now, here's my unpopular hip hop opinion.

Eminem is garbage, he hasn't made a good album since MMLP and he's a huge biter.

hmm. Maybe this will bring the thread to new life:

What is a good lyricist? Does rap seem to favour/push lyrics more than song? Do you enjoy good music with worse lyrics, good lyrics with worse music or does it always take both?

You might as well have said that you didn't like The Eminem show, because it's the same thing. Everyone knows after that he ran out of material and is now firing off blanks. Granted his blanks now aren't as bad as Encore, but they still lack the bite and emotional value that Eminem had when he had something to say.

Recovery was literally unlistenable for me.

And the thing about his 'good work' was it was insanely unoriginal and disingenuous. Infinite was him trying to sound like Nas and AZ, SSLP was him trying to sound like Cage, after he bit Cage lines in Infinite. MMLP was okay though.

Now this thread needs Cannibal Ox.

Growing up in the Bay Area, I was exposed to PLENTY of great rap. I'm talking about Mac Dre, Too Short, Yukmouth, 3x Krazy, Smoov-E, Andre Nickatina, E-40, The Federation, and Mac Mall.

I've always loved Immortal Technique, Geto Boys, The Roots, Nas, Common, Outkast, Busta, and most of Wu-Tang.

The best rapper alive is undoubtedly Tech N9ne, though. He's just on a completely different level than anyone else right now. He can be just as fast as Twista or Busta, but his lyrics are so damn original and funny that you'll WANT to listen to it slow. As for his beats, they're on par with (if not better than) any artist from any generation or subgenre. They're like small symphonies.

Meeeeeeh, I'm half and half with you.

>Tupac
Seriously overrated to me, I mean he's above average but the way he shouts over beats and has a subpar flow really puts me off of him, and people act as if he's the most socially conscious, talented hip hop jesus ever to. I can't listen to him much

>B.I.G
Love a lot of his stuff, he had flow, pretty overrated by some, but still great.

>Big L
Dopeasfuck, punch line king.

>Compton's Most Wanted
Might be because I rarely like gangster rap, especially west coast gangster rap East Coast Mafioso rap is the shit though but I never liked them much. Better than NWA though, in my opinion.

>Mobb Deep
First album was good, second two were 10/10 classics with infinite replayability, after that they sorta fell off. Still put out some amazing stuff.

Honestly though most of my stuff is 2000's underground stuff, lot's of Def Jux and Rhymesayers. Those labels churn out amazing rappers like nothing.

I know a lot of people put Tupac really high on the pedestal. I mean, most discussions about the greatest hip hop/rap artists will have Tupac and Biggie at the top for most people. For me, I can relate to a lot of what Tupac talks about in songs like So Many Tears, Pain, My Block, Keep Ya Head Up, Changes, et cetera. I also like some of his poetry. But I agree that many people really go overboard with Tupac. I'm not too interested in who is better than who outside of dis tracks and rap/freestyle battles, though, so I tend to ignore the "who is the greatest" debates (though they can be amusing).

And I agree with you about the underground. That's where I tend to find most of my new rap and hip hop. I also like to listen to unreleased singles and non-album singles by the more mainstream artists.
>> No. 5024

I'm not a big single person for some reason, when I find an artist I like, I prefer to have a large catalogue of their music to check out. Most of my underground discoveries come from watching hip hop news / new mixtapes / video jumping and watching labels that put out a lot of artists I like.

And I have to admit, I fall into a lot of those debates about "X artist > Y artist". I've argued for Cage in a lot of Cage vs Eminem debates.

Watching underground labels is probably one of the easiest ways to expose yourself to lots of underground hip hop, since I' bored I'll list off a few popular ones.

>Def Jux
Or Definitive Juxtaposition for long They had to change their name from Def Jux after Def Jam sued them. My personal favorite, though it's criticized by some as being too 'backpacker'
-Artists to watch for from Def Jux-
>Cage
>El-P
>Aesop Rock
>Cannibal Ox
>Murs
>Del Tha Funkee Homosapien

>Rhymesayers
Very conscious label, home to a few of the biggest underground hip hop acts out there
-Artists to watch from Rhymesayers-
>Atmosphere
>Eyedea and Abilities
>Grieves
>Brother Ali
>MF Doom

>Babygrande Records
Probably the most borderline mainstream of the underground labels, it's known for a lot of the hip hop acts that are sometimes referred to as 'entry level underground hip hop', none the less it has some good releases, a share of their releases I hate though.
-Artists to watch from Babygrande Records-
>Jedi Mind Tricks First album was solid, second was a classic, downhill from there.
>Immortal Technique I don't like him, but he's popular
>Cannibus See above
>GZA Amazing artist
>Blue Sky Black Death One of my favorite production teams, not rappers though, just producers

>QN5
Smaller label, sort of kept afloat by one group at this point, but they still have some good releases
-Artists to watch from QN5-
>Cunninlynguists
>Kno
>Tonedeff

>Eastern Conference
Now a deal label, but it released some great stuff while it lasted. Has some of my favorite material.
-Artists to watch from Eastern Conference-
>Copywrite
>Smut Peddlers
>Chief Kamachi
>The High and Mighty
>Tame One

So, anyone got something like that?

Agreed, I like some of his punchlines, and that hidden track is pretty fun. I think my favorite Immortal Technique punchlines is "Remember something nigga, while you rave and rant, a roach can live 9 days without his heead, but you can't."

Welp Cage, you old self-proclaimed, I'm at giving it a shot.
>Def Jux
So far... not really something I feel. DTFH is cool with the Gorillaz and "If you must", Cage on "Look at what you did", but apart from that nothing caught my ear so far. Not my kind of beats, too trancy and unaccentuated maybe.

You're listening to the wrong Cage album. Depart From Me is his worst, you have to really appreciate Cage as an artist already and have an invested interest in his life story to fall in love with that album. If you're going to try Cage, listen to one of these two albums, both sound completely different, but both are amazing.

>Movies for the Blind
Try this if you want to listen to a PCP addict fresh out of a mental ward giving you graphic descriptions of the fucked up things inside his head. It has a definite horrorcore feel to it, though it's done in a way that feels believable... Probably because at the time, Cage really was doing a lot of self harm, PCP and rape. My all time favorite album.
>Stand out tracks
Agent Orange, Among the Sleep, In Stoney Lodge, Suicidal Failure

>Hell's Winter
This is the album Cage did after he got off of PCP, it's a bit closer to Depart From Me in that it's a very self expressionist album, not much preachy conscious stuff, but what sets it apart from DFM is the fact that he keeps a lot of his older delivery. His layered vocals really add emphasis to some songs, with one voice sounding rather constant and the layered part coming in sounding like his old PCP addled voice. While a lot of the songs deal with his childhood and all of the terrible things that happened in it, he still breaks out for a few songs that are a lot more... Well, they're closer to old Cage. You get a taste of his mastery of horrifying visuals in "Subtle Art of the Breakup Song"

Hi. I love you.

Def Jux doesn't get half of the love it deserves man, I swear. With releases like CanOx and El-P, mother fuckers are like the face of experimental hip hop. Plus my favorite rapper of all time is >name<. Nice to see other fans of Def Jux around here. I mean, I started on underground hip hop with JMT and the whole AOTP scene, but Def Jux is just soooooo much better than most of the underground stuff that gets hype from the majority of people.

After reading all your posts in this thread, I can say the feeling is mutual. Except I liked Depart From Me. It isn't his best, but for someone who's gone crazy, Depart From Me is like a soundtrack to it. But his first two are better yeah, also his EPs are interesting.

I'll admit I'm more for Aesop and Del though, but after really listening to Cage, I can say he's on my top 10 list.

I'll admit I listened to Immortal Technique when I didn't know any better and was of the opinion that if it wasn't political, it wasn't shit. Then I actually started listening to his lyrics...oh fucking Jesus Christ they are terrible. It's like reading a "Truther" website by someone who's fucked up on some really bad acid and watching the entire David Lych box set over and over again, stopping to either read the Bible or browse Ogreish(defunct now for a very good goddamn reason) for news. But then again, that's just my opinion.

But yeah, Def Jux and Rhymesayers are pretty much my goto labels. I used to watch Sage Francis, but then Li(f)e happened. I think he was trying to do an Everlast(who I like, mostly for nostalgia) and failed. But then again, Everlast had only one good album, or at least Whitey Ford Sings the Blues is the only good album I've heard out of him.

Anyway, I think I should link a couple of songs now, since this is a music thread.

most of it is freestyled, you can call it nerdcore or whatever but he mostly does slam poetry and obviously takes a lot of influence from that style and Scroobius Pip. I am trying to produce some original tracks for the raps but it is tricky, very tricky with the limited equipment I have right now.

we were a bit lazy so we just ripped some instrumentals from our respective music libraries and pasted into Audacity, which is a bit of a pain when trying to remix tracks. We are using a Shure microphone into a tascam interface straight into the USB. I keep insisting the levels need adjusting but he says it's fine. the vox are just a little too high on the gain which gives it an awkward prominence. I have a new idea on how to mix original tracks though using live instruments like acoustic guitars and coffee tables.

here is another project of my other buddy under the alias of Ant Man in collaboration with Megatokes. Not as much existentialism and angular Rap stylings with strict rhythm as Kay P. Kay. This can be more likened to a Lil B. mixtape, nothing too serious just fun stuff.

I still have like half of that album on my iPod though.

I thought it was creepy as fuck. The dude's dead, let him have some dignity.

Pac was a pretty good rapper, but dude wasn't the best in my opinion. I might be alone in my assertation, but still, I think it's creepy how some people glorify him. Yes he was amazing, but at the same time, we have to let him go. Just glorifying him doesn't advance the genre in any way, listening to what's new, what's not mainstream, that's what'll really advance hip-hop. So in a way, I see the 2-Pac hologram as a stagnation of the genre.

Also, I found a game where you play as a member of the Wu-Tang Clan and have to save a magical baby with a necklace from a sewer wizard and his panda. It's pretty damn fun.

http://www.talesofgames.com/sewergoblet/

"It was an ordinary day at the Wu-Tang mansion. Ghostface and Raekwon tossed around a football in the backyard while Ol' Dirty Bastard, RZA, and the rest of the gang watched the game inside. What nobody expected was the knock at the door that would forever change their lives.

Much to their surprise, a tiny but majestic baby with a mysterious pendant was on their doorstep and with nowhere else to go and no sign of who the baby belonged to, the Wu-Tang Clan had no choice but to adopt the tot and nickname him the Wu-Tang Baby.

Little did they know, this baby was much sought after by an eldritch wizard living in the sewers for his pendant, and when the baby was kidnapped by the Cheese Panda XD, a henchman of the wizard, the Wu-Tang Clan was tasked with finding the wizard's lair in the sewers and rescuing the kidnapped baby from his evil clutches in Tales of Game's Studios Presents The Sewer Goblet: The Wu-Tang Clan and the Wu-Tang Baby!"

Also, I was wondering if I should stick Waka Flocka into this story as well, where they don't know each other (they met in 2006, I think). Think about it, 1017 Brick Squad before they even start rapping together!

I've heard all the songs you listen, and I'm sorry but they are just crap. "Nightmare Night" rap-wise was just embarrassingly bad, of course the instrumental to it was wonderful because WoodenToaster (Glaze) has always been good at that. But Rap? I'm sorry, but just none of these 'Rap' songs appeal to me in any way. Their flow sounds just redundant. Their lyricism is non-existent. And there is literally no serious meaning to any of them other than, "HEY LOOK! PONIES!" Swagberg may be the best Brony rapper, but he's still whack as fuck when it comes to rap in general. The reason he's the only tolerable one is because he at least has an alright flow. But even then, his lyricism blows and he has no meaning at all. And when I say his flow is alright, I mean just that. It's ALRIGHT. Nothing compared to just about any real rapper out there.
That basically puts it in perspective. The best Brony Rapper is the best because his flow is alright. That's just sad.

And as for 'seeming upset' I was. Very upset. Because no matter where I go someone IS always trying to shove Brony rappers' dick in my ass!

BlahB lahasdgfhdfsfu8sed7gves

Oh, here's some copypasta. I wrote this when I was level-headed one time. Maybe it will get my point across better.

"I just don't appreciate it when a bunch of people that don't even like rap say a??? song is good just because the subject is there interests. So I find people saying, not this song in particular this applies to ALL Brony rappers, that a rap song is amazing or that a rapper is 'The Best Rapper Ever' when the person saying it doesn't even like/listen to rap. So basically, you hand that person a rap song that does not pertain to Ponies and they say it's garbage. They don't know RAP. They know Ponies."

^That about does it.

Okay, okay. I'm done. This was way too long. Apologies.

I don't wanna start an arguement, but you appear to have an extreme reaction to his posts rustles. Your jimmies seemed to have rustled completley out of control, and the rustling seems to have spread to your lungs and upper body.
I'm sorry, but you have terminal stage lung rustles. Treatments are available to help you along during this difficult time if you wish for it, just so you know.
No need to be mean for no reason.

Anyway, I'm interested in some rap history. How is it that Biggie was the one to save the East Cost? Surely there was better artists than him residing in the East? Or was it the novelty that he was fat, too?

Your pasta. Word.
But that's the issue with every laymen-expert-thing. If people stopped talking about what they don't know and resorted to "hey I like that", it would be more honest and humbler, but at the same time maybe more boring.

Hi, bronies. At first, I wanna say sorry about my English. I'm able to understand what will u say, but it's hard to me to speak using English language. Anyway, I wanna ask you for your opinion about Russian hip-hop. So, i hope you won't ignore it and will say your opinion. Thanks anyway. If you will want, I can try to translate these songs from Russian to English for you.

For my whole life I had dismissed rap and hip hop. I wasn't really exposed to much of it and what I did hear I didn't like. I thought it was all senseless badmouthing and all that. I always told people the one kind of music I didn't like was hip hop.

But then the Wu entered my life.

I heard one song (Shame on a Nigga, I think it was) on accident pretty much, and I thought it was as unappealing as all other similar music I'd heard. But for some reason, no matter how much I thought I didn't like it, the words kept spinning in my head, and I had to go listen to it again. The more I listened to it, the more I liked it. It was strange, different. I'd never heard quality hip hop before and it was intoxicating, the words and beats spun in my head and I loved it.

Pretty soon I downloaded Enter the Wu-Tang and found that I hated every song but that first one. But I kept it on my iPod, made myself listen to it. Thought that if I liked the first one so much, then why wasn't I liking the rest. And in time, I was won over. Just like at first, I thought I couldn't stand it, but the more I listened the more addicted I was. I wanted to hear more rhymes, more sounds and rhythms. I caved in and got several more albums, loving all of it.

I don't know why it was the Wu that broke my stubbornness against hip hop. My best guess is that the rawness and brutal honesty of the lyrics on 36 Chambers really got to me, despite the subject matter which I didn't really like. Thoughts about this?

Anyway, the point is that now my mind is free and open, and I'm excited to listen to an entire new genre which I never have before. Can anyone give me some pointers for some of the best artists? Or some similar to Wu-Tang?

Thanks to all!

I'd say Animal, Good to go, Getaway, his feature on WWC, Everything I love the most, but I do not know a lot by him besides the Radioactive release

At this point I've listened to Creek Water, Trunk Muzik 0-60 and Radioactive. I actually got interested in him through a link from Britpony, the beat from Made in the USA and his voice interested me.

I'll just quickly summarize my top 3 from each of the albums I listen to.

>Creek Water
Really different from Radioactive. It's just really... chill. He sings his hooks in this album
Soul Everyday, DareHeGo, Ride Down the Highway

>Trunk Muzik/ Trunk Muzik 0-60
He starts to embrace that 'white trash' 'bama thing he has going on right now.
Good to Go, Mixin Up the Medicine, Trunk Muzik
I'm a little biased because 'Daddy's Lambo' was made in Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. That gets points from me automatically:P

>Radioactive
Some songs he starts to get a little sentimental, but it feels forced? Still has that white trash motif
Animal, Let's Roll, Radioactive Introduction

He might not be the best lyricist, but I enjoy listening to him regardless. I like the way he picks his beats. Plus he can tre flip like a beast. Embedded is him doing it for two minutes because IT'S ALL HE CAN DO LOLOL

Any suggestions? I think what I really like about them is their incorporation of a noir era sounding jazz in their work and overall atmosphere and I just love something about the way it flows.

Typically I listen to Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Micranots, Phull Surkle, Abstract Pack and occasionally anything produced by Nick Wiz but I really like this style. Is there a specific name for it or something?

Holy crap love it thanks. Not really the same thing as what I was looking for though. The reason I like hip hop so much is that it focuses on the message behind the lyrics. But I started to slightly get into electronica music lately, specifically house music, and it has really given me a sense of appreciation for the beats behind the lyrics too. I have no idea why I'm typing this but I just started to ramble and it sounded good enough for me not to want to delete it. Sorry bout that haha.

Oh wait maybe because I was going to say that since I have a new found appreciation of instrumentalism, or whatever it should be called, I've been gaining an affinity for other types of instrumental music like jazz and blues, and I suppose that was relevant to what I originally said. Or something. I don't know I'm having crazy zone outs or whatever. I'm like Derpy right now. Had to search for the term zoning out because I couldn't remember it.

Yeah, not exactly the same, but it has that jazzy sound so I went for that. Also, if you're starting to care a lot about production, I recommend 'I'll Sleep When You're Dead' by El-P. Not his best album to me, but his easiest for new listeners of that ultra-experimental space age hip hop thing.

His production is fucking brilliant.

I've been listening to Ab-Soul and Schoolboy Q a lot, recently. Both of them just have really interesting styles, especially Schoolboy Q.

Both of them are in the same crew as Kendrick Lamarr, who I haven't listened to much.

Been listening to the Blueprint by Jay-Z and Be by Common a lot recently, because it's summer. Little bits and pieces from Tyga, Troy Ave, Dalek, Curren$y, Subtitle, Gold Chains.

Have to confess I really enjoy the Drake album too. I spend a lot of it trying to avoid hearing the lyrics, but his flow's incredibly smooth and pleasurable, and a lot of the tracks are great. Lord Knows is the best thing Just Blaze have done in ages.

Also really enjoying Flackavelli by Waka Flocka Flame, and Nicki Minaj's verses on almost anything.

I can't gauge his skills if even the most basic part of his ability as a rapper doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. And I did say I didn't know what in specific it was I disliked about him other than his voice, so why the fuck are you stressing this so much? You seemed to be implying it with "Oh I don't like the rap group you listen to, they're shit, my artist is better." There's also the fact that ignorance wasn't even brought up until your last post, and it really isn't in the context your using it. Ignorance =/= opinion.

If I think he has a bad voice, hey, that's my opinion along with the one that he isn't a good MC, so why are you making such a big ass deal about it?

MMG may not be the best, but your generalization of them as an entire group without significant artists affecting is the actual ignorance here. You may hate hate them and think they're bad MC's, but relating that hate to the people who listen to them? What, are you twelve or some shit?
