Well, there's only one way to properly celebrate the changing (used very liberally) of the seasons: with a song! ^^

Hi. I'm a sound composer meaning I like to edit and piece together audio things into my own creations.

Below is a track I have made that I would like your opinion on.

The setting of the track is that an unfortunate pony had been selected as Changeling bait in order for surveillance to see a Changeling's consumption methods.

Lemme know what you think.

And Yes...I did use sounds from SCP-Containment Breach
>> No. 17491
I actually cringed listening to this. It could use some work though. I suggest lowering the quality of the doors opening to sound like its actually in the track.

I did a few stanzas myself, so I can relate.

You often sound nervous, out of breath, with a voice coming from throat to lungs, not from lungs to stomache. Practice and getting into a comfort singing zone, or recording when you are naturally in that zone will make it better.Or take a notch down in speed for starters.
Resonates with the music, well the idea of the execution I got, well enough for me. And I say, after a hasty beginning with some rhythm issues it got really better over the first minute once you got into a pattern.

What you'll of course need and I can recommend is something where you don't have to do one-takes, the more often you recite and hear yourself, the more chance to improve.
That's how I now even know a piece I wrote myself by heart, something I never did by just coming up and writing down.

if that is what comes about after few days, good job, keep at it.
What do you mean "learned it" a few days ago? Have you not been listening to music with rap and rapped along before?

>I only started to learn how to rap a few days ago
Well that explains a lot. And actually that's a bit relieving. It would be scary the think that this video was a product of years of training. If there's one piece of advice that I can give you, it's to listen to rap. A lot of it. A lot of the times, the best way to learn is by imitation.

I have listened to rap before and I'm getting into it more and more xD I always sang along to songs and haven't really listened and got interested in rap until I heard some of the fandoms rappers

Anyone up for some doom metal? Share me them dark, groovy riffs you've been listening to. Feel free to post any kind of doom whether traditional, stoner, sludge, drone, epic, death or black. I'm always on the look out for quality doom. Bit of a big dump of music but this is some of my favorite doom.

Ah, that's a good band.

I've always been a fan of old death doom.
Speaking of which Dream Death isn't nearly as well known as they should be. Penance as well.

The mind behind this is sharp enough I can tell, but the form is still in the student phase.

I like it, it's a nice starting point.

You need to learn more about composition though.

This is also coming from someone who knows shit about comp. I just know that a lot of this seems to be thrown together. The whole point of noise is to know how to compose music, to know how to compose a good melody and know good sound structure. Then to transgress. Noise is like musical Gnosticism, and you still need to find the Gnosis.

Keep trying though, for legit.
