Usually it takes them a few days to process, and about a week to ship- on a single-item order. Which isn't bad.

But if you get upwards of 4-5 items in one order, it could take months.

So I guess my advice is just to keep your orders small.

I'm currently using BuyFromTaobao for a Derpy. Buying it without the shipping cost was about $15 including the fee for them to take a picture of it when they got it. They just got it in, shipping it to my house was about $23. It's been pretty smooth so far, I'm just waiting for the confirmation that it has been shipped now.

They usually don't take more than 24 hours to respond, are very professional and if you need further assistance they have a customer service manager help you out. However you'll need to specify in your order that you'd prefer to pay with Paypal so they can get the forms ready for you.

Because when I do that I get 42.46 which happens to be the exact number of what you're thinking is a second charge. Notice that the second picture you posted even says "total payments" meaning that is all the money you have spent so far.

It may look cheap from first glance, but shipping from China and the fees that the shopping services charge really puts a dent in your wallet. Your Taobao agent should have all of their charges listed on their website, so you could have decided before you ordered, whether you could afford it.

As for cancelling orders, they would likely not let you cancel by this point if they already ordered the item for you. They would be out money because they already spent money to buy you the item.

Besides, I am not sure exactly what the problem is since your account says you already paid for your entire order. If they won't send your items now, contact them, and they will fix everything up for you.

It seems they may be using the CMC flower girl set as a placeholder until the seller brings the product back up since he can't have an item up on taobao that he doesn't have yet. Here's to hoping this all works, she told me to wait and pay the difference and have done just that so now, the waiting game continues.

I use taobaospree.com for when I order lolita clothes. You fill out a spreadsheet and it tells you exactly what the fees and stuff are, so then when it's all at their office they weigh it and tell you the shipping. It was a lot higher than I thought it would be for me, but I ordered like clothes and shoes.

I got Dərpy in today. Here's the box we've all seen. The box is badly crushed, so keeping it mint in box isn't really an option.

Better shot of the damage. I blame them for cramming the box into a shipping box that was almost too small. I had to cut the box apart to even get it out.

Dərpy is fine though.

In the end, it was a pretty decent experience. The price was decent and the shipping was fine. Communication was hit or miss and there was a period where I was concerned that I might have cancel the order. But I'd do it again for Dərpy.

Darn, I feel kinda left out now, I put in that order for the 2 Dərpy's around June 2nd and mine never left processing still. Is there anything I should know about that I could've missed? I tried contacting her recently but maria hasn't replied in I'd say about 3 days or so since then and just put a feedback report up on the site, they normally reply through email too so I can only hope I can get this figured out.

Well I finally got a response after sending another email & it's basically the same thing as has been stated above:

1. Processing limbo is due to the over-demand for Dərpy & obviously not enough stock. Until it can be confirmed that new stock will be available, current orders will remain in "Processing".
2. For those willing to wait and hope that more stock is achieved, the price will increase to match that of Comic-con price.
3. If no additional stock is found, all current orders will be refunded.

IMO the change in pic from Comic-Con Dərpy to Wedding CMC is just the supplier trying to halt orders for a product they're not sure they'll have enough stock for.

I am keeping my order in hopes that the supplier gets more stock. I guess all we can do is cross fingers...
