The initial reasoning for the removal of /b/ and friends was the fact that the overwhelming vast majority of its everyday users had moved to other locations, and as such left quite an empty, and otherwise unnecessary thread. A grand total of three of its typical users had decided to stay behind on this site, and a whopping one to three post per day had begun to become the norm of the threads. Seeing this, there was a near unanimous decision made by those that had moved to new threads that keeping the old /b/ and friends thread was utterly pointless, and we requested it to be removed. However, if you, and whatever party still remains here do in fact request that it stay, and continue, so be it. It sad to see that our community is indeed spread this thin, and over so many different areas. In fact, this segment of the /b/ and friends community is so far from the rest of its typical community that to even call it a part of the original /b/reads is quite a stretch of the imagination, in my opinion.
If you, Cato, Audacity, and whomever else you seem to have drawn in honestly wish to keep the thread, and its title, I have no power to stop or prevent you. And remember that you're still more than welcome to join the rest of the community where it exist.
I apologize for the inconvenience Guardian, and to the rest of the users of /b/ and friends.
