>>121338 here, I'm happy to say my evaluation was overly-pessimistic.
With teamwork, the Wonderbolts have built a nicer base than any other faction, out of snow, 200 blocks up.
Faction block protection means we're pretty much invulnerable to anything but cannons built in the sky, and we've claimed a large area around Cloudsdale, and more power than any other faction, so even that's not much of a threat.
Regarding politics:
pony, mlp, shadowbolts, ponychan were all absorbed into the Wonderbolt faction, and AnonInEquestria is the only other pony faction, though we're very close.
Wonderbolts formed an unholy alliance with our former enemy, The Imperium, and together, we form the largest powerblock. /v/'s volcano faction usually can get 40 people or so for a stampede, so they're still a threat. /pol/and and some neutral boards have tried to form an axis of evil, but were curb-stomped.
They've added anti-cheat, so we don't have to deal with fly-hackers, but the amount of diamond /v/ keeps pulling out of their flank after we destroy a stampedeing party makes me suspect they've got more than a few people using a client with xray.
The server is still in beta, so everything will be wiped when the 24 hour ban and stuff is added.
