It's been almost nine months, but a new thread and a new release has finally arrived. (Old thread >>36234)

Version 1.42.2.5 (2013-05-11)
Link:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/tv6k70aekhmr3es/Desktop%20Ponies%20v1.42.2.5.zip

DesktopPonyGuy appears to have moved on to other things, but development has continued. The artists have added lots of new animations and characters, and there's 149 to choose from in this release!

The program itself has also seen a number of changes. The biggest by far is support for Mac and Unix. Yes - Desktop Ponies is now multi-platform.

We've also got a new site set up:
http://desktopponies.bugs3.com/index.php
And don't forget the DA community
http://desktop-pony-team.deviantart.com/

Feature requests or bug reports are welcomed (and for those who don't know me, I'm RoosterDragon, and I'm maintaining the program in DPGs absence).

The last thread has been saged for so long. I'm happy to see Desktop Ponies back on the front page!

For me,it always tells me to change the path to screensaver, when I don't have the screensaver because of that.It tells me that I can't run default profile, when it is not included. This is the cause of the "change path" error. Please help!

And I was hoping that there wouldn't be any silly errors. :/

Possible workaround: Type %TEMP% into Windows explorer. Then find and delete the 'DesktopPonies_ScreenSaver_Settings.ini' file.

If that doesn't fix it, please post a screenshot of the exact errors you're getting (also, make sure you're running the .exe file, not the .scr file).
>> No. 43181
What is the settings file doing in %TEMP% anyway?

It should be in FOLDERID_RoamingAppData.
>> No. 43186

That's just how it was originally set up.

It's not suitable as roaming data though, so being in the temp folder isn't all that bad, really.

Neither Mono nor Wine are able to run either of the executables.

Running "mono 'Desktop Ponies.exe'" gives the following error:

In wine, I get the error:
"Install Mono 2.8 or greater for Windows to run .NET 4.0 applications."

But I'm already running mono 2.10.8.1

Oh, found a small bug again. When ponies follow another pony and then stop, sometimes they won't go into their idle animation. Happens at times with Twilight's and AJ's truck interaction or in the beginning of the conga.

Also, I made some small changes to some of the ponies: just a few little fixes, nothing new. Also reduced the probabilities of some of Rarity's behaviors that use (audible) speeches.

I'm a beginner at scripting, which is hard to do except on my version RPG Maker XP, where I have a bunch of scripts in a zipped folder. When I get Microsoft Visual Basic I will try my hand at "real" scripting.
Also, I would join the DP forum but the Parental Controls which my parents set up keeps blocking it. :( Wish I were there. D:
One more thing before I get back to the characters for my DP-Based program. When I get to it I will pick up that Pinkie Pie animation and finish it.

question are we counting the MLP Comics as "cannon"?
>> No. 43253
>>43252
That's actually a good question... The comics are basically a second show. Many series have a comic book and right now, this comic is pretty much identical to the show but with its own stories.

I honestly think comic characters should by included if they are canon or not but with restrictions. We can't just make every background character like in the show since the comic's backgrounds are more crowded then Tokyo... Limit it to (at least) semi-important characters.
>> No. 43254
>>43216
same here. You aren't the only one with the same problem.
>> No. 43256
>>43252
According to the people working in the comic, the events shown in the comic are cannon as long they don't contradict the events from the cartoon.
The cartoon's continuity always will take over the comic's continuity regarding cannonicy so I suppose only the characters created for the comic will not be considered cannon.
>> No. 43259
>>43252
No, they are not cannon. Not pistol or rifle, either.
As for them being canon... not really. I'd rather call them "expanded universe".
>> No. 43260
>>43256
>>43259
I think the main question is if comic exclusives will be allowed in the program. I read the next story arc has a unique villain.

Like I said, I think it might be alright but limited to the story related characters, no backgrounds.
>> No. 43262
>>43260
Well, the "canon characters only" rule has been broken before, what with the inclusion of Surprise, an alternate version of Doctor Whooves and filly versions of the princesses.
That said, it can happen if the character turns out to be interesting and/or important enough, but I guess it would still be the exception rather than the rule.
>> No. 43268
This release is intended to:
- Fix screensaver related problems. There are some changes, new files and also some extra information in the readme which I hope should address any issues.
- The program will no longer bug you about screensaver stuff if you are just trying to run it normally.
- Test a change which might improve scrolling issues on Macs.

Your choice of two download links, each identical:
http://dropcanvas.com/vrt2v/1
http://www.datafilehost.com/download-a6ba7876.html

Simply copy files into the same location, and overwrite any previous ones.

PS: If anybody knows a good free file hosting site that would work well for these downloads, please point me at it and I'll use it in future.

-----------

My apologies to Mac users with the scrolling problem. Mono attempts to recreate how the menu works on Windows, but it seems to be failing at it somewhat.

I've simplified the design a bit, and I hope that might fix the problem, but it might also have literally no effect. Let me know what changes.

>>43201
>>43237
I think I know this one! The standard mono install doesn't seem to have a key file. Install the package named "libmono-microsoft-visualbasic10.0-cil". On Ubuntu, that's "sudo apt-get install libmono-microsoft-visualbasic10.0-cil" from the command line. That should account for the "main entry point cannot be loaded" error.

>>43226

Yeah, according to that blog post trying to run certain applications on anything less than 10.6 might cause the problem you had.

It includes a workaround, but I don't know enough to help you with it. If you can figure it out let me know, otherwise I guess you'll have to hope somebody Mac-savvy can figure it out.

>>43271
Stick with 3.0.2 then. At least that indicates the program got started and then died. The other error indicates it didn't even start.

I'm still unsure what might be going on, so I can only give generic advice like uninstalling and reinstalling mono in case the two versions messed with each other.

I've included some extra console output in this version which might give me some clues. Try posting that when it crashes.

>>43274
You're 99% there! Just double click the 'Desktop Ponies.exe' file and it'll run. Don't worry about the 'Desktop Ponies.exe.config' file, it's just a text file (but don't delete it, it is important!).

Download the new release above, it contains a fix for the exclusion zone preview which is very handy.

The options menu has a section to set the exclusion zone. The location and size values range from 0 to 100, these are percentages relative to your screen size.

I suggest setting size to 50, 50 to get started. You should see a green block representing the exclusion zone appear. Then you can tweak the values and the preview will update. It should be reasonably easy for there, since you'll be able to visualize what the numbers mean.

OK, after getting the Main-1.42 to run,
here's how to set up the Screensaver(under Win7, might also work like this under other Windows-Versions):

1st:

I've downloaded the actual patch, found at the official Release:
http://desktopponies.bugs3.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3

and unpacked it into the Directory of the 1.42

2nd:
right-click on the .scr and select install
Now you have to enter the Config of the screensaver(Windows-Screensaver-settings), pointing to the main-Directory of Desktop-Ponies(where the .exe remains)
By default, the screensaver now loads only a random single Character

3rd:
Start the "normal", non-screensaver-Version, setting up a Profile called "screensaver" and just add all the Ponies, that you'd like to see on the Screensaver.
>Enjoy, as the screensaver-Profile is now used by the Screensaver, showing all wanted Ponies

Note: the Mane6 seems to interact with eachother

In this release:
- Added pagination to the main menu. This is primarily to provide a workaround on Mac due to the scrolling issues with the UI (see screenshot). This will kick in automatically on Macs once loading is finished. Other platforms can just click the checkbox if they want to use it.
- Fixed long standing bug where toggling a tag in the filter on the main menu would not refresh the display straight away.
- Fixed a problem with copying images/sounds for new behaviours/effects under mono.
- Fixed an issue with deleting rows from the editor not having an effect when the file was saved.

>>43329
I run an optimizer on them, but it's not supposed to change how they look, only reduce the filesizes.

Which ones did it break? It's been such a long time since I noticed any problems with it I've just been trusting it to do the right thing. Guess I was too trusting :/
>> No. 43335
>>43333
No no, it didn't actually break anything. I just noticed it because Sombra's crystals would linger on the last frame of its "shattering" longer than intended, and when I checked, the last frame (which was supposed to be blank) was missing. Some other effects that are not meant to loop might suffer from this, too.

Other animations, while they at times look quite mangled when I open the file in my animation program, actually work within the desktop ponies program, so I guess it's not so terribly bad...

...

So yeah. Call it nit-picky, but I just wanted to mention that.

Are you using Animation Shop 3 when optimizing the sprites? That program has a nasty habit of doing strange things when saving files with those features.

Nah I use a program called gifsicle. It's extremely good at compressing gifs.
http://www.lcdf.org/gifsicle/

It does however have that annoying problem you have found with blank final frames. It thinks the blank means "no change made since the last frame". So it just sums the time with the previous frame (because it thinks they look the same, and so it won't hurt to combine them).

To combat this, insert a frame before the blank frame. Give it zero duration and fill it with a solid colour (say white). This will stop the frames getting combined and keep your original blank frame intact. The zero duration means Desktop Ponies won't ever show that frame (though some image viewers might). I did this with RD's rainboomtest.gif, so you check that image for reference.

Not ideal I know, but it does work. If you know other images with this problem point them out and I can apply this workaround to them too.

>>43339
This is good news and yet somewhat annoying, but thanks for testing it out. I hope it's actually usable with the new pagination system.

So for Mac users out there, trying to get it to run with mono:
- If the stable version isn't working, try the beta.
- If the beta version isn't working, try the stable.
- If both don't work - errr, panic (or maybe hope the stable release of version 3 will work for you when that comes out).

It is weird that some systems specifically need the beta for it to work, but others specifically need the stable. So weird.

Sounds like a bug. Just great, now I'm finding bugs in programs I didn't even know about before. :p

Hmm... off the top of my head, Pinkie's teleport does have this problem, too (the two files starting with "teleportstart"). I'm not sure if there are any more at the moment.

Also, a little design-suggestion about the new pagination thing: Wouldn't it be better to put the option for this either in the option-screen or in the space below the option button? Also, have the navigation buttons only appear if you're actually using paged view.

In other news, I just noticed that I made a tiny mistake with one of the frames of my trot animation for Sombra. It's barely noticeable even when you know it's there, but I fixed it anyway because I'm nit-picky like that. Download the fixed gifs here: http://filer.net/get/k9glgluraie0pojw

Ah. Aah! Noticed something. The Desktop Ponies program doesn't even like those optimized gifs (at least those bigger ones).

When summoning Derpy, I noticed that the animation when she jumps on that cloud (the gifs starting with "derpy_cloud_") skips pretty much the whole jumping part. I replaced those files with the old, "unoptimized" ones, and lo and behold, the animation runs as smoothly as it used to be.

Honestly, I don't know the benefits of this "optimization" aside from saving a few measly kb, but I'm beginning to think that the drawbacks are outweighing them.

There is a bug with running desktop ponies on secondary monitor in extended desktop mode:
if secondary display is placed right to primary everything works fine
but if it's placed left or above primary, it has negative coordinates:

Ah! I think I've remembered why.

You summoned Derpy from the right-click menu, right? If so all her images will not have been loaded yet, and they get loaded only once they are actually used. (Can't load them all when you add her, or there'll be an annoying pause for a few seconds whilst it does all that loading).

For small images, this works ok because they load quickly and you probably won't notice. For larger images it takes a moment, so they'll be a pause and it'll skip ahead afterwards to catch up on lost time.

You'll only notice this the first time a behaviour or effect plays for a new type of summoned pony. After that the image is loaded. Alternatively if you choose them from the menu all their images are loaded before you start.

I think that's probably the reason.

- Start "C# Desktop Ponies.exe"
- Once everything is loaded, a button labeled "Gif Alpha" should appear at the top. Click that.
- Here, you can choose the files you want to edit. Afterwards, just pick a color by clicking on the pony or directly from the palette and edit its values to your liking. Don't forget to save and you're done. Well, with this file at least. :p

For some reason, whenever I put the in crystal pony action, it messes up the character's interactions. Rainbow went back to the lowercase error and Twilight's interactions got duplicated. This happened MANY TIMES during Rainbow Dash. Any time I do something to a character it keeps duplicating their interactions for no reason. Rainbow had about 10 copies of her 2 interactions and I had to go in and remove them manually. I go in and change one thing, they are back... WTF is going on!?

About the sparkling: Perhaps it's because the "canvas" of your Twilight is so much bigger then that of your Rainbow. If I remember correctly, the sprite layers are set depending on where the graphics' lower edges are, and since Twilight's is lower, she's drawn in front of the sparkles.

Full release v1.42.0.5, in this version:
- Fixed images for several ponies which had zero duration frames (and thus those frames would not be shown).
- Fixed a couple of images with transparent final frames that had been optimized away by accident.
- More (speculative) fixes for scrolling problems on the Mac.
- Fixed wonky scrollbar when restoring the main menu from the taskbar.
- Fixed a problem where saving interactions would use the lowercase name of the pony, thus causing errors later.
- If the program encounters an error it wasn't expecting, it will attempt to log this to "error.txt" for later reference.

I'm just trying to work around specific bugs in Mono on the Mac platform.

So yeah if you have too many ponies it is still broken. I'm afraid my advice at this point is simply "don't do that" (or at least, make the window bigger first or something).

It also doesn't recognize mouse clicks when ponies are active. So dragging won't work. I made that extra window that allows you to get the context menus that usually require right-clicking because of this issue.

I'm annoyed it still has leftover graphics. If you do something that forces the window to refresh itself, like maybe resizing or minimizing and restoring it, does that clear up the leftovers? Is there anything you can do that clears it up or are they stuck there?

>>43486
Are you referring to the screensaver still, or something else? If you get an error message then post that because those help me a lot.

Are either of you running multiple monitor setups? If so get v1.42.0.6 (>>43466) first because I fixed a bug in that which sounds similar.

Could you also try mousing over a pony (without clicking on them) and see if they get into their mouseover animation or speak to you? Try it on one of the mane 6, they have obvious mouseover animations. That would at least indicate if the mouse position is being worked out correctly.

I've got one last idea which I've tried, but I'm still just guessing so don't get your hopes up. Try this version and see if anything improves.

If this doesn't work around the issue, I'll probably have to cook up something custom for Mac to get around the Mono issues with that main menu, but that'll require time and not being lazy on my part.

This is the first time I'm attempting to make a custom pony sprite. I watch the tutorial, but I realized, there's only a mare base. I figured "No problem, maybe I can find a way to put together a Stallion base" Though after Looking at all the different layers plus reference layers, I don't know where to even begin. Is there a possibility of there being a Stallion base that has layers divided up just like the "mare Base" Photoshop file?

I am using cs2 so I also have to do a ton of switching between photoshop and imageready to make a pony. Under file go to save optimized as and that will save it as a gif file. Make sure in the animation window that you have all the frames set to restore to background since that can cause problems. Hopefully cs2 and cs are similar enough that thats all you need to do.

Do you have a GitHub repository? Because I wanted to look at the source to find out what the (new) values of TargetActivation really mean (I'm who writes Browser Ponies). You should have a GitHub (or Bitbucket) repository anyway. It makes it much clearer where one can get the source from and who is maintaining it, you get a bugtracker and wiki for free and you can use GitHub-Pages to host the binary download (like I host the Browser Ponies page) instead of this obscure file hoster you use now. And you write "we", so I suspect there are more developers than one. This means you need some kind of SCM anyway. Use git (or mercurial)!

(Note: Maybe don't commit large binary files (all the gifs and mp3s) to the repository. You could commit them and tell all developers in the readme to use shallow clones. I recommend to use a shallow submodule. If you use mercurial use the bigfile extension for that.)

Deviantart's admins suspended my account for "harrasement" because according to them, sending too many theft reports at once counts as that.

I *think* this might be from an incomplete mono installation.

I'm not sure how that might happen, as mono comes ready to go with Ubuntu, so that's pretty bizarre.

Try grabbing the "mono-complete" package, that will install absolutely everything you might be missing and then some.

If that doesn't fix it, I might recommend redownloading the v1.42.0.9 patch (>>43628) and overwriting the files again just in case it got weirdly corrupted or something.

For anybody having this error on Mac, I have changed the error handling in this version so that there's a better chance Desktop Ponies will get a message about something going wrong. Hopefully this error message will tell me something new, enough to deal with the problem.

If anybody with this problem is willing to help me out, try running this version. It should create a file called error.txt when something goes wrong and if you could post the contents of that, it'd be a help. Thanks.

With Hasbro shooting down Fighing is Magic, I think this project will need some more defined copyright limits and harsher politics regarding the use of it's resources to avoid suffering a similar fate.

Hunting down and getting rid of all of those stolen bases circulating on deviantart AND offering officialy approved (and copyright defined) bases at your DA page would be a good idea, so nobody could misuse your resources or feign ignorance whenever they are caught selling your property for a profit.

Better to be safe than sorry, guys.

Um, we already get enough flak from the community as is from what we do crack down on and you want us to go harsher? I'm sorry but I don't think creating more bad blood is a good thing. Plus fighting is magic just got a little too big that Hasbro couldn't ignore it anymore. Our project is still hopefully under that radar and I doubt a base or two up on deviant art is going to change that.
>> No. 43996

You people could create a fixed set of "official" templates, fully and clearly labaled as non allowed to be used for commercial purposes (thus, destroying the "I had no idea!" excuse used by people selling Desktop Ponies AND getting DA to get rid of all of those unnoficial ones used to sell things by people who genuinely believed the thieves were the real creators)
Also, you could make an open statement that editing your current animations is not allowed anymore (thus, cutting out for good the flow of people selling recolors)

People would understand your stance if instead of simply stopping scammers you provided people with the tools needed to create their own things rather than depending of commision stores to get their OCs.

People continues giving you flak because you guys are too nice and anyone can abuse you guys as much as they want by simply being stubborn, as you guys always end up giving up at the end.

Not an exaggeration as I've seen people abusing your work since 2011 and absolutely nothing happened to them.
>> No. 43997

Most of this is already done by us, other ideas are no good for one reason or the other.

>Also, you could make an open statement that editing your current animations is not allowed anymore
This essentially defeats the purpose of this being an open group project. How is anyone supposed to add new animations if they are not allowed to edit them? Why even offer a base in the first place?

>People would understand your stance if instead of simply stopping scammers you provided people with the tools needed to create their own things rather than depending of commision stores to get their OCs.
We already provide people with templates and tutorials. What else are we supposed to do? Supply everyone with their own copy of Photoshop?
Sadly enough, there are quite some people who are just lazy and will gladly fork over cash to anyone offering some cheap recolors.
Also, there are enough people who claim that, by providing bases, we are implicitly allowing them to use them for anything - including making money. Yes, it's insane parasprite logic. We know it and so do they.

>People continues giving you flak because you guys are too nice and anyone can abuse you guys as much as they want by simply being stubborn, as you guys always end up giving up at the end.
Sadly, hunting down those thieves can only go so far. We simply can't track them all down to their homes and threaten them at gunpoint into stopping their dastardly deeds. Because we are nice, after all. (Also, traveling around the globe can be quite costly)

Mayve or the EVO event, they want money and they put the FightinhIsMagic there, hasbro see it and the C&D send becaus they think that 'They are making money indirectly' indifferent if are or not acepted by they...

My seccond theory is based on the fact that the law say that Hasbro (the company) owner of the right if was notify about a potential projectthat can compromise they ownership (in the sense that you can lost ownership over a franshine if you not manage it correctly) of the franshine, and for fallow the law they notify about it to mane6dev team

Also, I have to mention, I don't think they can really do anything against art. There are way more people in the fandom who take commissions to get much more money. All profit from DP can't legally be pinned on us because its all unauthorized.

You are reposting templates made without Desktop Ponies' team permission, which is already bad. People uses them to sell DP animations, which is double bad and you want to keep doing it no matter what others say so you could get attention or e-fame: Triple fail combo.

Yeah 1.39 should run just fine with that setup. If you're worried about things not being up to date - just run Windows Update. That should cover most of it.

5","79,65",False,2

Spitfire:
Behavior,"remove-suit",0.01,10.24,10.24,0,"spitfire_stand_right.gif","spitfire_stand_left.gif",None,"stand-nosuit","","",False,0,0,"",False,,,"53,51",

>>44208
Nice catch I'll add those fixes in.

Random speeches must be in the same group as the group of the current behaviour before that can be used. So it's "working as intended" - although I suppose I could make an exception for group 0 speeches and let them play whenever. What do you guys think?
>> No. 44210
>>44209
Actually, as far as I know, speeches and behaviors set to group 0 were always supposed to be able to play whenever, as group 0 is the wildcard. If that doesn't happen currently, it's definitely not working as intended.

Behaviours do, yeah. I don't think speeches ever treated group 0 as a wildcard (I think they used to ignore groups, and at some point I changed it to be current group only and forgot about group 0).

I've changed that so it's consistent with behaviours now (current group or group 0).

I spent an ungodly long time just trying to recreate the idle issue (I really did think it was gone). Took a while but I did manage to get it to happen with the AJ/Twi truck interaction. Is it possible to include a script that will let the ponies answer questions when they are put into a certain mode? I just randomly came up with this idea... like maybe you could right click them and put them in interview mode, then right click again and the "Interview Mode" button will be a dropdown menu with a bunch of questions to ask. And maybe you could formulate your own questions for friends to ask the pony.
Of course not all the ponies will be able to have questions to ask (there are a lot of ponies!) so those who don't have any questions at the time might say something like, "Sorry, I'm busy. You could ask someone else..." I don't have Visual Basic so I don't know if this is possible.

I don't think this could be possible.

The program allows to trigger certain conversations when some user-defined ponies get near each other but your idea is asking too much from a program that is already struggling to do it's best.

- Pony movements after taking over control still doesn't work correctly, so games are still unplayable.
- Ponies now fidget around the screen edges instead of properly bouncing off them. (I have a single monitor)

I'm sorry, but this update fell flat in my opinion.

Lovin' all the new sprites so far, hats off to the animators.
Now, I need bit of help with the program, when I clear stuff with CCleaner on my PC, it seems to remove the DP screensaver configuration, as it asks for the DP folder when activating again. Does somepony know which option should I need to disable in CCleaner so that this doesn't get erased?

>>44356
Yeah my bad, fixed those up.

>>44357
The settings file gets put into your temporary directory (%TEMP%). So yeah it gets nuked whenever the temporary files get cleared out.

>>44358
A common issue is forgetting to specify frame durations on your animations. If the duration of each frame is zero, then there's nothing to animate! Try checking what they are set to in your image editor. If they're zero, try setting them to 0.1s or something like that.

>>44366
Did you get sound in previous versions? If you go to the options menu, can you see a message about sounds being disabled due to lack of DirectX? (If not, make sure you have the checkbox ticked for enabling sounds, while you're there.)
>> No. 44370

Okay, controls seem to be fixed (at least within games). The ball has some odd behavior, though. For example, it will occasionally move to the wrong side when kicked (which is extremely annoying in the Ping Pong game). Also, ponies should probably stay on their side of the screen during this game.

Bouncing off screen edges is much improved. In fact, it looks even better than before. Nice! :)

Yep, much better :)

Not off topic at all! You can do this in the Pony Editor. Select a pony who will initiate the interaction.

By default, in the bottom-right you can see the interactions for that pony. To add a new one, click the "New Interaction" button.

Then, you just need to fill in the blanks.
- Give the interaction a unique name.
- Choose the ponies who will be involved. You can choose multiple ponies if you like. If you're adding the interaction to Twilight Sparkle, you can have her interact with a copy of herself just by selecting her in the list.
- Choose the behaviours the ponies can run. Usually you make a specific behaviour in advance for all the ponies involved that has the correct images, speech, etc. So be sure to set these up.
- Choose a random "chance to occur" - somewhere between 5% and 30% is probably ok.
- The other values are probably ok on their defaults.

Save and you're good to go.

I'm afraid the error from the console here isn't a lot of use to me (it's the default from mono and it isn't quite detailed enough). I'll see if I can make it do something more useful in the next version, since the error.txt isn't appearing for you.

If you're still willing, could you run once more with this version? It should log a more detailed error to the console if it crashes, hopefully enough to identify the problem.

There is an odd bug that seems to be related to interactions (but I can only guess here). I've started the program with a few ponies (including the Mane 6), and after a while (sometime after the conga interaction ended), some of the ponies started running to the upper left corner of the screen and kept "running" even after reaching the corner.

Speaking of the conga interaction: sometimes ponies that are set to follow other ponies start moving without regards to the pony they are supposed to follow. So I guess that somehow, the following is broken.

- Updated flight animations for Princesses Celestia, Luna, Cadence & Queen Chrysalis by Bot-chan.
- Fixed bug in v1.42.2.3 where interactions would not be loaded by the pony editor.

Copy files over existing installation. You will be prompted to overwrite config files for Princesses Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Queen Chrysalis & Fluttershy, as well as the interactions file. If you have modified any of these ponies, or created/modified ANY interactions, you should take a backup of these files before proceeding so you do not lose your changes.

Okay, the editor bug is gone now. :)

Interactions seem to be somewhat broken again. Very obvious with Pinkie's conga, which will often start with just a few ponies (as long as all of the Mane 6 are on screen).
Also, there seems to be a problem with characters changing animations during interactions: Sometimes, they'll get stuck in the wrong animation (for example when Twilight teleports Pinkie, the later will just repeat her vanishing animation, or when Pinkie hugs Fluttershy, Fluttershy will sometimes stay invisible even after the interaction is over).

Also, no love for Blueblood? ;)

- Added Prince Blueblood by Bot-chan.
- Fixed some dodgy loading of interactions.
- Fixed Fluttershy's config which was preventing random behaviour selection working effectively.

Copy files over existing installation. This will prompt you to overwrite the config file for Fluttershy, so if you've made your own changes you should take a backup of this file before continuing.

>>44850
Can't believe I missed Blueblood. Added! You'd think copying in new files would be the easy bit and yet I somehow miss them on occasion...

Fixed the interaction issue. Fluttershy was more interesting, it wasn't the interaction, but rather the fact most of her behaviours were moved to group 1. Thus when she tried to switch out of the interaction finding a new behaviour at random usually failed and so she would keep repeating her current, invisible, behaviour.

Found out about this today. That is an amazing feature. You guys are awesome! Since you've said that requests are welcome, I'm taking the liberty to ask you guys to add some more animations to Princess Twilight, to make she look like the original Twilight Sparkle. While most of Twilight's animations are decidedly unique, there are some that really would go well with her Princess version, like the reading animation and the 'wind blowing in my mane' animation. Not being an artist myself, I can't even try to add those animations. Your call, obviously, and thank you for the amazing program; it made using the computer that more awesome!
>> No. 44943
>>44941
Feature requests. Like, suggestions for the program itself. Sprite requests are usually frowned upon.

That said, additional animations for Princess Twilight are definitely a possibility, but personally, I see little point in simply copying regular Twilight's animations. I'm sure that, once season 4 starts, there'll be enough material for a few extra animations that can be unique to Twilicorn.
